"We were doing some upgrades in our older house and I wanted to have central A/C and to remove the old baseboard heating system. I contacted a couple of the larger A/C contractors and they all came in around the same price while using different manufacturers and in some cases even different sized systems. I found an ad for Green Heating and called Dan who quickly scheduled a visit. I liked Dan from the start. He's down to earth and personable. His price was excellent, he was a couple thousand dollars cheaper than one of the other contractors while quoting almost the same equipment (one of the components that Dan used was a new version than the other guy quoted). When we were finally ready for the installation, Dan worked with me to schedule the installation and he did it in the time promised and in the time frame he quoted. I like the system and we were very comfortable in our home this summer, which was hot and this was the first summer that we've had whole house AC. In 9 months we have had 0 issues with the system. I whole heartedly recommend Dan and will use him when general system checks or any maintenance is needed."

They did it so quietly, neatly and perfectly, it was as if they were not there. Any item that needed my imput , such as location of thermostat, they asked questions to clarify. "Installation crew called when 30 minutes away (approximately halfway through the service window quoted by Omni).  They arrived on time, were extremely polite and knowledgable.  Initially there were a few concerns from the crew regarding the compatibility of the purchased unit with the limited space I had in my furnace closet, and they ultimately agreed to install a similar unit that fit my HVAC system for the same price (the similar 'upgraded' unit is ~$20 dollars more on Amazon).  Two things pleasantly surprised me by this initial interaction: 1) the crew definitely had the expertise to anticipate and communicate problems before starting the installation process and 2) that they agreed to install the similar unit for the same price.  Both of these show good faith as a company, and as a customer, I will likely use them for my future HVAC needs.
The actual installation took ~120 minutes, and the 2-person crew was courteous and hard working throughout the process.   The crew wore booties to protect my floors. cleaned after themselves when complete, and showed me how to use the humidifier when they were finished.  I'm really satisfied.

"Mike Zam and his worker Albert cleaned all my air ducts, registers, and dryer vent. I paid $530 for the first 15 ducts and vents. After that I paid $20 per additional duct and vent. I paid $100 for the dryer vent cleaning for a total of $740. While the work was being completed Mr. Zam made a strong sales pitch for another $1400 to be paid for an Air Scrubbers Plus--a whole house air purifier which is attached to the furnace. He also strongly advised me to pay another $310 to have the coil blades in my furnace cleaned. (I got him down to $270) While he was taking the bottom part of my Lennox furnace apart he received a phone call. He then told me he had to leave and than another service man would call me the next day to do the job. As a result, I had time to call my HVAC service man to discuss these high price additions. He informed me that neither was needed. I checked online regarding the Air Scubbers Plus and found out that the whole- house air purifier's effectiveness greatly diminishes the farther away a room is from the unit. After the men (about 2 1/2 hrs or so) I discovered a lower register hanging off the wall in my living room. In my bedroom the upper and lower registers were reinstalled backwards, making it impossible to slide the lever controlling the louvers. To move the lever necessitated a hammer and a screwdriver. My recommendation to anyone considering air duct cleaning is to watch the process closely. I did not with Eco Friendly Services. And I regret it."
