"On the weekend, my 20 yr old central AC on a vacant rental property was on it's last legs, and finally broke down for good during flooring construction in the middle of the heat of summer. Velocity Air was able to have a tech out within an hour of calling on the weekend to diagnose the issue, when others needed me to wait until Monday. Velocity Air replaced the entire system the very next day, with a brand new high quality (Runtru by Trane) AC unit. They even resurfaced the wooden support base a solid pressure treated plywood base. I couldn't have asked for quicker, professional and friendly service. Thank you!"

"Replaced our duck work and will not blow any air through our vents. Day 1. Came back day 2 nothing any better. Day 3 said he would back and never showed up. Would not answer my husband's phone calls. Our thermostat is set on 82. Thermostat is set at 82. The unit never shuts off. Temperature in our home is 87 degrees. Would not recommend his work. Waiting for him to come and fix this problem. Sure hope he doesn't what he says. Suppose to come back. Already paid in full."

"I have used them for many years. Probably foolishly. But they got the work done. I had a new air conditioner and handler installed by them in April 2023. I have a maintenance contract where they come out 2x year to check the system. They were here in April. Thursday afternoon, air handler working but actual A/C Unit not coming on at all. Finally got guy out here Monday afternoon. Tells me the problem is the fan blade cut an electrical wire that blew out the fan motor. And the capacitor went out thru wear and tear. They are charging me over $927 in labor to replace the fan motor, the capacitor and they are "throwing in" a hard start...which I thought I already had. And even though they installed the system. they don't know if they have the parts. They'll let me know Tuesday morning. I am thoroughly disgusted. I feel like I have to use them because I do not want to void the mfg warrantee. Not sure what my options are. But I would NEVER recommend this company."

"My review has not appeared on the Performance Air primary site which consists of positive reviews, so I'll try to replicate here. I've also contacted the BBB. Company ads indicate "service 24/7" which is misleading. Yes, you can speak w/ someone at the company, but they can't or won't send a tech 24/7. Our a/c went out Sat evening, 9/16, and they said someone would be out Tues, 9/20. When I said that won't work they scheduled us for the next day, Sunday, between 10a and 2p. Needless to say they didn't show. I called dispatch to see when someone would arrive and was told the tech was delayed on another job. Finally about 5:30p I was told "you're not on the schedule." A wasted day in the heat when I could have called someone else. Our Trane unit (bought from Performance) is less than 8 years old and is maintained only by Performance Air via a service contract. The company is eager for us to replace the unit. When Trane and other brands are properly maintained they typically last much longer than 8 years. The company overcharges on parts, which I've called them out on and had the price reduced (check the records if they'll let you...you have our permission.) Hughes Gulfport FL"
