"Brent McCurdy and his assistant Jody remodelled three bathrooms for us.    They completely guttted two of the bathrooms and then installed new tile on the floor, built and tiled the new shower, installed cabinets, lights, fans, and the new toilet, doing all of the plumbing, electrical, and painting work themselves.   In the basement full bath, we left the tile alone, but they installed new cabinets, lights, toilet, and plumbing and electrical fixtures.    <br /> They did an outstanding job - top-quality.   They are perfectionists and very easy to work with.   When a problem arises, Brent always has a couple solutions and presents the pros and cons of each.   This is the second major project that they have done for us and we are looking forward to hiring them for a third one in 2015.     I strongly recommend them. <br />"

"Had a retaining wall extending away from our house with a defective brick cap with failing masonry and bricks falling away left and right. We also had several spots on our brick house where the brick either separated or noticeable masonry cracks were developing. Of the two contractors I considered, Pete came by and took his time to understand the issues, match mortar and to propose long-term fixes (the first contractor just looked over photos and planned to repair what was a poor design). During the job, he gave expert advice on what areas to keep an eye on moving forward (i.e. spots where the home brickwork design could be a problem later). He also noticed a neighbor's brick chimney was actually leaning by 5-10 degrees and advised her to think hard about a repair in the near future, noting an expensive repair was far better than a collapsed chimney. In my case, he removed the existing bricks from the top of the retaining wall, preserved the vast majority of them (removed the attached mortar), poured underneath a new concrete base and reinstalled the brickwork in a way that apart from the mortar (lighter white, but essentially identically to existing) was really hard to distinguish from the rest of the house. He also removed / repaired mortar around multiple cracks around the house. And in one tricky area, he removed the outer half of several bricks (which separated on their own) and cut bricks to replace and re-mortar in a way that was again hard to distinguish from the surrounding brickwork. This was a 2 day job for Pete to complete. While the job was a little expensive, it was well worth the investment to make sure that the repairs would fully reestablish the harmony and attractiveness of our exterior brickwork. I am honestly a DIY kind of homeowner who really dislikes bringing in contractors, but there is no way that I could have done this on my own, at least not without leaving behind a series of eyesores... So if you care about your brickwork's useful life and appearance, or you have a complicated repair job, I highly recommend Pete."

"We first hired the Davenports to rebuild a utility room which housed a water heater and well tank that was in need of reconstruction due to prolonged water damage. Bruce was very responsive and came to estimate the job the next day. His price was fair and we hired them to build the utility room and a new deck. These guys did awesome work! The deck is really well built, very sturdy and a very high level of craftsmanship. Bruce matched our roofline with the utility room rebuild and had better ideas than me with how to design it, great job! After seeing their quality of work we hired them to build an addition onto our cabin, we had been looking for someone in the area for over a year. Bruce and his sons came in on budget and on time! The new addition is excellent, we added a master bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower, laundry closet and walk in closet. The overall design and execution is extremely high quality and Bruce, Matt, and Houston were very professional about everything. We live in Fl and received pictures via text messages each day showing progress on the job. We just came home from spending a week in our new room addition and could not be more pleased.
