"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

Yet we were out at ease with the initial 730am phone call that weâ d placed for service. "It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The floor sanders left my heat pump running while sanding. I replaced my duct filters three days in a row because they were filled with dust and debris. I needed help in a hurry, and Keith went out of his way to make it happen so my painters could arrive on time. I also had electrical work happening on the same day so the power was turned off. Keith went above and beyond to find a portable generator and complete the work. It was an all day job in the heat, and Keith got it done. My vent filters have been sparkling clean for the five days since he did the work. I highly recommend this company."

"I had had a heat pump "tuneup" by an unnamed company in November and I was told the defrost board was not functioning and it would cost about $550 to fix it.  I made no decision immediately but after finding the cost of the defrost board on line I thought the repair price was high.  I chose David Ashcom from reviews on Angie's list and called asking to have the defrost board replaced.  The woman I spoke with was very helpful and she said her husband liked to assess the heat pump himself and would charge $75 for that service.  When I asked what the approximate cost for replacing the defrost board the quote was considerably less that the $550, so I engaged their services.  I received a call from the woman at Ashcom's office after the repairman had looked at my heat pump and she stated he found nothing wrong with the defrost board.  I was incredulous and she had the man check again but again following testing he found nothing wrong.  So $75 was all I paid and my heat pump has been working well through this cold winter.  I know i will never call the first company again but will definitely call on David Ashcom for any heating and air conditioning problems.  It is refreshing to find honest people these days.

"My Mother is 91 years old and her air conditioner went out. One of your technicians, JOE BIGO came and gave my Mother a estimate on a new unit. Joe was very polite and very professional. Joe went out of his way to work with us so my mother can get another air conditioner unit. You all are coming next Thursday (20th) to install her unit. Excel is the only ones that my husband and I have service our air and heating in our home. We are always very satisfied with yals service. "We wanted to try a local contractor and came across Evergreen by chance.  It was an excellent experience.  Thad was knowledgeable and professional and easy to work with.  The crew was exactly the same.  Nice, respectful, competent.  The worked around my crazy schedule as we had other improvements going on.  They had a slight delay in getting the generator as there was a back order, but called and let us know and we worked around it.  Laurie in the office was equally good and kept us in communication on details or things to do and schedule etc.  I could not be more happy with the experience on such a big purchase.  They were always accommodating and helpful.  The Generator and switch were high quality and I think the price was fair.  They even did some easy side things for us for no charge.  We will definitely use them again soon to install an attic fan."
