"After several attempts to just hire Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction (during a bid process), I finally did. The rates seemed comparable, at first. However, there were many projects to be completed at my deceased mother's house. Because I am disabled and not able to get to the property, I couldn't see how badly I was taken advantage of. Not only did I pay for a job they did not do, I also paid for another job that is unfinished, plus a french drain that is causing a sink hole, and the buried equipment is now above ground. All 3 of these projects pose safety risks. The french drain collapse is only a few months after installation. After bringing these issues to the owners attention (the unfinished project I'd requested be completed for months), the owner began ignoring me. When I mentioned that litigation was going to move forward, the owner said he'd look at the work that week then blew me off again. When they actually do work, Golden Hill's quality of work is atrocious and will need to be fixed. They broke the house vinyl siding when cutting down a tree branch and refused to fix it. I hired a contractor to fix that. They will overcharge (snowplowing is expensive), take advantage of you if you are a senior or disabled, and will try to get paid without working. They should not be in business and allowed to take advantage. I now have to pay someone else to fix their work, finish their work, and do a $375 job they never did. They've been paid over $10,000, with more work to be done at multiple properties. They agreed to do a quote at a second property, then never showed up. One would figure, with that kind if business, a company would want to perform quality work and respond to a dedicated customer. Aroldo at Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction will do a poor job or not at all, blow off appointments, ignore requests, and refuse to fix problems. He will, however, not hesitate to pick up a check. You should not ever hire them. If you do, be prepared to throw money away."

MP has a large in-house team of experts that work efficiently and adapt to the home owner’s needs and preferences. The employees worked 6 days a week and took great pride in their work. They were personally invested in our project and wanted to make it the home of our dreams. The team includes an amazing designer, Nataly, who helped with selecting finishes. The onsite foreman, Adriano, demonstrated expertise and kindness. Seichelle and Marco did an excellent job with operations, ordering materials and problem-solving. We have been back in our home for 10 months. Anytime I have an issue, Seichelle and the team have addressed it. They have gone above and beyond what is expected. Four-man team arrived every day and worked from 8:00 A.M. to about 6:30 P.M. every day. There work was impressive. In eight days they: • repaired rotting wood on garage • replaces seven existing windows and an entrance door • vinyl sided the garage • installed new gutters • demolished front porch and installed a new composite deck The workers were friendly and kept me informed as the project progressed. "Addendum to my last review: When the septic pump failed, we discovered how many corners were cut. Instead of a septic pump, a sump pump (for rainwater) was installed with the 1½ inch pipe joined to a 2 inch pipe to make it look like it was supposed to. There was no coupler on the pipe leading to the distribution box, necessitating cutting the pipe to get the sump pump out. No check valve. Do NOT use this guy."
