Today Ahmet and Ahmet returned to complete the restoration phase by installing new insulation in place of that which had been drenched by the water pouring from the burst pipe. Throughout the process, including during the weather-driven delay, Rich maintained regular communication re conditions at his end and anticipated timing for finishing the job, effectively eliminating any frustrations attending the unavoidable delays. All in all, My Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Service has been a great company to work with—friendly, competent, honest, and reasonably priced … who could ask for more? Bonus: While unrelated to the original contracted mitigation/restoration service, after finishing Ahmet offered while here to repair a shaky door that has been a problem we’ve just put up with for some years at a very reasonable price. "The team, namely Liliana and Oscar, did an incredible job restoring our dining room after extensive water/mold damage in the walls and ceiling. Professional, communicative, and thorough- their work is really wonderful! The team who did the assessment was thorough and the quote we received was honest, detailed and comparatively competitive to other contractors. The entire team has appropriate certifications in mold removal. I wish we’d gone with them for the mold removal initially as well- we had an unsatisfactory experience with another mold removal company but we had ERS add on safety cleaning measures and they were. Great. Gave us the confidence to know our home was not only beautifully restored but safe for our newborn. Thanks so much! If you’re on the fence, go with these guys- you won’t regret."

"Although Norman was the best part of this terrible experience (nice, knowledgeable, and professional), the amount of money ?the office? charged me just to take down a portion of my ceiling (about 10x16) was outrageous. I asked for a quote to fix it only to find out that one was to take it down and one was to put it back. It cost me $3490 for about 4 hours worth of work and in that was $1125 just for an ?air mover? and a dehumidifier. I could have bought a dehumidifier for $189 that covers a 1500sf area at home depot. There is no way I would have paid $9000 for this job to take it down and put it back. No way I should have paid almost $3500 for a few hours of work for a job that was not completed (cause I was not paying another $5k just to hang drywall, finish it off and paint). I got another quote for 1/3 of that and they are going to replace my whole ceiling so it all looks the same. It would have cost me $3800 for the whole thing had I gone with this other company. I will not ever make this mistake again."
