It really felt like he cared more about our satisfaction than getting as much money as he could from us."

Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. Once the new pool arrived, they constructed the pool and constructed new outline landscaping around the pool. "Mr. Wilburn's crew showed up on time Thursday to rake my leaves.  They had to reschedule when the weather turned unfavorable in the middle of their work.  The crew returned Friday as promised to finish the work.  Since I was at the office that, I could not hand them the check in person.  Mr. Wilburn let me mail it.  My contractor was in the house that day take care of a project and commented that the crew did an excellent job.  I inspected the results afterwards and agree.  Mr. Wilburn's company will be back next year to mow my lawn and take care of my other landscaping needs.

"Travis came ready at first visit when he showed up to see the area to be landscape for estimate. I had no idea of how the flowerbed would be but wanted it re-done altogether to replace a worn out rock bed. He showed up with his tape measure, he was very prompt, answered any questions I had and gave me concrete suggestion on how to turn my flowerbed around. When he and his team showed up to work they really turned the view on the front of my house around. I now have nice plants/flowers where it used to be a worn out rock bed. The job was very well worth what I paid for. They were all very pleasant, worked hard and finished all of the work in time. I would definitely recommend his team to anyone needing any type of landscaping done within the area."

"Jesse and Tillerman Gardens are top notch! We have worked with them for years. With our first home they widened our driveway, added a retaining wall, leveled our backyard and made a beautiful stone wall around our garden. "Hired them in April 2019 to level and reseal patio pavers with polymeric sand. Job looked okay at first, but shortly several voids starting showing in the sand and some pavers started to settle, which is not unusual or unexpected. Sent them pictures at their request and they said they would return and repair the problem areas. I marked the voids and uneven areas with tape to make it easy for them to locate the voids. I also asked that they call to schedule the repair so that I could be there. After over 2 months of inquiries and waiting, someone showed up when we weren't home and did the repairs. Some additional voids have since appeared. If they had come when I was home as requested, I would have simply asked for them to leave a little poly sand so I could fix an additional settling without having to bother them."

"I knew what to expect from talking to the owner of the company, Steve Norfolk, and reading reviews of this type of work on Angie's list. It was going to be a messy and noisy job, and it was. However, the noise wasn't as bad as I expected from the jack hammering of the concrete floor and drilling into the walls. The two men who did the installation were very good about cleaning up the work area at the end of the day and when the job was completed. They were also very polite and answered any questions I had as the job went along. I was very satisfied with the way the basement looked when the job was completed. Steve's wife Mary was great too, when I asked for an owner's manual for the sump pump and battery backup, she immediately put the papers in the mail. The reason it took so long for me to finally write a review is that I was waiting for hurricane season to end, hoping to see how the system worked in a big storm. It figures that it was a quiet hurricane season! However, we did have 6 inches of rain over a two day period in October and the basement was totally dry.
