"MK was the only vendor (I could find) that could handle the whole house plumbing job and the remodeling of the bathrooms. Detailed estimates were provided and conversations relative to various alternatives, approaches to the project were presented / quoted. It was very convenient, helpful to visit the MK Showroom to view / see / pick-out the various components (i.e.: bathroom fixtures, faucets, hardware, lights, tile, colors, etc.). It was a non-pressure, friendly, consultative approach (complete with financial impact evaluation) to “scoping out” the entire project. MK was the “single-point-of-contact” for the entire project – even for such a complex project. They managed the deconstruction (of the remaining water damage) and coordinated the various portions of the project (i.e.: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall, bathroom remodels, tile, etc.). Over the duration of the project, there were various “updates” and discussion on what “our” expectations were for the final result. In fact, there were several “changes” that occurred after we saw what the finished room would look like – versus our expectations. All of these were handled without complaints, irritation or challenge – with a very professional attitude / response. Everything was accomplished within the stated scheduled timeframe – and the detailed estimates created at the start of the project. Matt (and his folks) were very easy to work with and committed to meet our expectation for the project."

"Carpets very clean and when one area of traffic pattern proved difficult Mr. Moore went to truck to try another spot cleaner and started over on this area. The extra attention helped. Service was professional and because of ourcircumstances he needed to follow up more than once to make contact. Cost reasonable. "This review is long overdue. The house we purchased is 20-something years old and had old 12x12 tile on top of an extra layer of plywood on the first floor as well the original carpet throughout. Cawood was recommended to me by my uncle, and I had called or visited several other vendors as well. I chose Cawood because of the quality of their product, personalized service from Mr. Cawood and their reasonable price. Their crew arrived on time and worked hard to remove the nailed down subfloor under the tile. After this was done, the crew discovered that our floors were not level enough to install the hardwood we'd chosen. They could have done a few things to even out the original sub floors and just installed the new hardwoods...I would not have known the difference. But Mr. Cawood visited the site and explained how our new floors would buckle or crack if we didn't work on the subfloors first. Even though he had to rearrange his crew's schedule and other jobs, he made sure our job was done right. He called a few contractors he knew and gave us names of those who could do what we needed and fit us in. We chose one of them, the work was completed, and Mr. Cawood came out to inspect the subfloors before the new hardwood and carpets were installed. Once he gave the ok, his crew installed our hardwood and carpet quickly throughout both floors of our home. Today, a few years later, both carpet and hardwoods still look brand new. The hardwoods are durable, don't scratch easily and the color is beautiful. Our carpeting is soft, extremely stain resistant, and still plush. I appreciate the value and service we received from Cawood floors and will call them when we decide to redo our basement.
