"I hired West Water and Sewer to fix an issue with my sewer line that Roto Rooter caused at my house in Detroit. Without going into too much detail, they charged me $11k to replace maybe 20ft of pipe, and found some old disused septic tanks under my yard. They told me I wasnt hooked up to the sewer at all, that it would be $40k to install a new line, then diverted my pipes into the dilapidated tanks they found.
