My visit to the large modern shop was eye-opening - PureLife can fabricate just about anything made of metal...design, cutting, bending, assembling and of course welding! My job was a relatively minor fix by comparison to the big projects underway, but the employees dropped what they were doing and welded my badly damaged 46" mower deck while I waited...approx. 20 minutes - that's amazing customer service! "I was giving myself some time because the work was supposed to be done in the cold weather.  I wanted to give him more time to get a little stronger and see how it goes.  He was good and was good to deal with.  He came the day when he was supposed to come.  He was a good person to be with and talk to.  So far, the tuckpointing work is holding.  I don't know how long the tuckpointing would take to see the real scene because he was doing it in the cold weather.  The price was fine and more and less it was the same price as others.  He was a nice person.  My first experience with this person has been nice so far."

"I thought he did a good job, in the end he hung everything to my liking and went the extra mile to get it done. My one complaint was that he had to take multiple trips to complete the job. The first time he came he drilled some rather large holes into my wall and they were off center I asked him to align the holes with my headboard so the shelf would sit neatly centered above my bed. I was watching him carefully and asked him to adjust, but when I walked away to take a call he started drilling and when I came back it was too late. I communicated this and he was very receptive and helpful its clear he is interested in his customer satisfaction. It ended up that we didn't have the correct hooks so he came back a second time with special wall hooks he went out to purchase at home depot as a courtesy as my walls were unusually think and also to re drill holes centered above my bed and to fill the old ones. His original price was for just the shelf and curtains but he helped me hang some easier things around my room that I needed an extra pair of hands for. He was really helpful and easy to deal with, I give him credit for dealing with the complaint so graciously and working to fix it."

"It went very well and what impressed me was how they did little damage to the surrounding areas. This was a large project that involved a lot of demolition. The owner was on site thru out the project. I may add he was also very creative in the area of design.

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.
