You should hire this guy for his communication skills and customer service skills alone. Not only was he responsive to our texts and calls -- he himself was proactive and constantly in touch with us about the schedule and the work. And the quality of the work is great. You can tell when there is pride of craftsmanship. Tom does a lot of the work himself but when he needs to subcontract, the people he hires also seem to be serious craftsmen.
