"Lance was very nice and professional and even gave me some good tips about making sure my home remained in great shape for future inspections. He has been in the business many years and pointed out one small thing I never would have thought about. Price was higher than regular home inspection but that is because of the tests they have to do on the air quality of the home."

"Steve Pace has been consistently prompt, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. He showed up on time with all required testing instruments, he demonstrated the efficacy of the testing instruments by testing both the indoor and outdoor air quality. He recorded the measurements on a sheet of paper that he left in our care when he departed with the understanding he would return in a week or so to re-test after we were using the Beyond Machine during that time. Being skeptical, we created a testing scenario in our home where we knew the air quality in our attic was especially poor and though Steve was generous enough to let us borrow the air filtration machine for a week or so, stating that when he came back to re-test our air quality, our air quality would be greatly improved, there was no way for him to know the attic's air quality was so poor as it was not an area he tested on his first visit as part of his assessment. We knew when Steve returned to re-test the air quality if he reported the air quality in the attic as being â goodâ or his instrument read numbers supporting good air quality this would be an indicator to us, that perhaps the entire testing isnâ t valid or based in reality. His readings throughout the house where he did test during his first assessment were in fact, greatly improved. When we got to the attic (again he had not tested before and had no prior knowledge of how poor the air quality was) the readings supported poor air quality in that room. There is no way for the Beyond Air Filtration Machineâ s clean air out put to penetrate the attic as there are not air ducts going into that room. Weâ ve had our two machines for a few weeks now and are enjoying the cleaner air. Thanks Steve!"

FAQs for indoor air quality testing projects in Temple, TX

You should test your home's air quality if you or your family experience health problems like allergies or respiratory issues, as these could be linked to indoor contaminants. Also, consider testing if you're concerned about mold, radon, carbon monoxide, or if you've recently had home construction, demolition, excavation, or remodeling that could have released chemicals into your indoor air.

An indoor air quality test typically takes one to three hours to complete. After the inspection, you'll receive a detailed written report within two to 10 days. The evaluation includes comprehensive air sampling from all designated areas in your home. Your specialist will review the findings with you and provide clear guidance on steps to take if any issues are found, helping ensure your indoor environment meets health and safety standards.

A certified indoor air quality consultant or inspector is the right professional to perform your indoor air test. While some home inspectors have certifications, they often subcontract this specialized work to trained professionals with advanced tools. This expert will thoroughly evaluate air samples from every area in your home and clearly explain the findings to you. Be sure to confirm your tester's credentials before scheduling your service.
