"We had Touched by God Carpenters come and repair our crown mouldings that were cracking and dropping due to a previously poor installation and also had Touched by God Carpenters install an Octagonal on our foyer ceiling. They were totally amazing, on time, respectful, professional, detailed, and did exactly what they said they would do in the timeframe quoted for a super fair price. They were neat and quiet! My old crown mouldings look beautiful and the octagonal installed and painted on the ceiling is perfection. My foyer is stunning and all thanks to Touched By God Carpenters! "Quality work and great customer service. Easy to follow instructions for the template and pads fit perfectly. Table pads look great! Ordered extra items and love them too. All arrived quickly and were good quality; however, had some damage caused by the shipping company. Contacted Mark Ivan in customer service who immediately shipped an entire new set. Those pads were also slightly damaged. Again Mark shipped a third set. I was astonished and delighted with customer service and quality of the product. It's hard to find a company with a quality product and fantastic customer service!! Definitely will use Berger Table Pads again."

"It had taken me approximately 4 months to find a carpenter who I felt could handle this particular job and who wanted to take on this task.  My particular situation was not simple as it involved visible termite damage to some wood flooring and sub-flooring as well as the windowsills but we didn't know what existed behind the walls of that area. When I had read OJ's description of working with everything wood I felt this might be the right fit.  After contacting OJ's woodwork Mr. Jamal came by and was able to evaluate the situation, provided me with the cost and was willing to take on the challenge of this particular job, which other carpenters had difficulty doing. What appeared to be a small job involved rebuilding  frames within the wall areas, applying insulation, new walling, sills and flooring to match 70 yr old oak and cherry wood. Mr. Jamal and Mr. Steve worked so harmoniously together taking turns at different tasks and completing the job in the amount of time they had estimated.  It was evident that Mr. Jamal takes his work seriously and the result of that was an extremely well done job. He  had even repaired a little wooden monkey that had sentimental value as well as a broken basement step which is a pleasure to step down on now.  Attention was given to clean up and a follow up visit was made to place furniture and items back in their place.   It was a pleasure to have had these gentlemen work in my home.

"I highly recommend Steve Richards and 7th Heaven to any prospective customer looking for quality furniture upholstery cleaning. I was extremely wary of hiring anyone to clean our furniture and the reason for this is due to the fact that I managed top airline lounges for many years requiring ongoing cleaning of both leather and fabric upholstery as well as carpeting. I was rarely, if ever, satisfied with any company and found most to be lacking once the sale or contract was signed. I did check with Home Advisor and saw that 7th Heaven had received very high marks for professionalism and quality of work. Steve did the job himself, and it is very obvious, that he truly wants the business and from this, returning and satisfied customers. We have two beautiful sofas, down filled, with beautiful pale blue fabric which we purchased after Hurricane Sandy destroyed our first floor. Additionally, we have two lovely wing chairs, colored ivory no less, that sit in front of our fireplace that we use VERY often during the winter. I am well versed in the cleaning method requiring solution sprayed onto fabric, then continual extraction as the dirt 'should' be removed. I am sure that many companies could say that this job we had to do would take 2-3 hours. And I have heard that many companies will spend just about this much time to get the job done..Except the dirt would still be in the cushions. Steve, working on the initial process, saw how thirsty the sofas were for water and thus the cleaning process took far longer than originally planned. He was at our home for 5-6 hours. He explained to me that the quality of the sofas required the additional time to extract the additional water/solution and he was going to continue the process until he was satisfied that the final results would be satisfactory. The results are great. It took a few days for the cushions and pillows on the sofas to dry but they look tremendous. Know that this review has gone on and on, but Steve quoted me the price when I booked the appointment and his additional hours spent were AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Again, he is working to build his business and with this work ethic and quality, he should do very well. I fully expect to hire him for an update next spring. (Our furniture had not been 'cleaned' since we purchased after Sandy, but with no young children or huge pets, still looked pretty darned clean). But I saw the dirt in the water and the difference after the cleaning. Great job, Steve."
