"The reason I first hire them is to look at the boiler to reconnect the pipe so I can get it tested. The plumber came and he told me he does not do that work. They lock you in with the deposit and so you use it or loose it. The work that was done was okay. To reconnect two 1.5" drain pipes for $450.00 is a lot of crap. I would not hire anyone that would ask for a deposit, for it is the games that they play. Use it and they still charge you more for the job."

"I was contacted by Total Mechanical Systems, LLC only moments after putting in a request on homeadvisor. I explained to Bob that we where remodeling our kitchen and wanted to have a pot filler installed asap as sheet rock was being installed in the morning and the pipe needed to be in place so they could sheet rock around it. He and Joey arrived at 7:30am and promptly installed the water line and pipe from the basement to 1st floor finishing the job as contractor arrived to start sheet rock. Doug replaced the shower pipe coming from the wall, which allowed me to put on a new shower head. Doug was very honest and could have tried to tell me the issue was worse than it was. Petey and his assistant went above and beyond the scope of work, carting the old sink away instead of leaving it for this old lady to deal with; also moving the heavy cooktop to a safer location than I was going to have it. He arrived ready to work; got right to it (both times) and was very professional. He was also thoughtful and considerate. I thought the job to reconnect and instal everything was going to take much longer but he had it done in less than 40 minutes- start to finish- which included checking to make sure the cooktop worked, the gas was connected properly with no leaks, the water ran well with no leaks, and that I was pleased with the job. I was missing a sink plug and he provided one right on the spot. HE COMES PREPARED!!! I will most certainly use him again for any plumbing needs for the property. The cost I quote below is what I paid for both visits combined ( the disconnect and the reconnect/instal)."
