"I just worked with Apex Masonry LLC to have a permeable driveway installed. I can't speak highly enough about the job that James and his crew did for this project. James is super knowledgeable and makes sure that clients are informed of what their choices are and what options exist. James was able to provide me with several different options for having our driveway done. Fortunately, James was able to refer me to a community partner in Fredericksburg who had a special program for eco-friendly work. We did run into a small hiccup during the project. The company that makes the pavers for the project had discontinued the two colors that we had discussed. When James found out he personally took me out to the landscaping yard to look at options and make sure that we were happy with the new choices. I really appreciated how customer service orientated James was. He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and patient. I would highly recommend Apex Masonry to anyone. "

"We could not be more pleased with the screen porch Tim O’Neill designed and his Northern Deckworks team, led by John, built. Both functional and beautiful, Tim’s design is perfect for us. We opted for the EZ Breeze window system and a gas fireplace. This will enable us to enjoy our porch nearly year-round. From the outset, Tim and John kept us updated on the status of our job, permits, when deliveries would occur, when the crew would be on site, etc. The crew was respectful of our property, and the job site was clean every day when they left. From the plans all the way through the final product, Tim insisted on quality – of materials and construction – and attention to detail. The result is very aesthetically pleasing. Everyone who’s seen the porch has commented on how it’s so much more than “just a porch.” Tim’s artistic design has become a wonderful reality. "Bottom Line: This is the first time using Chim Chim-Churee. They did excellent work for a reasonable price, and more importantly, built a huge amount of trust with the customer. Communication: Scheduling the initial estimate was easy and timely, while communications continued throughout the process. Scoping Work: This is probably the most important first step in any project and often either messed up or purposely inflated. The technician actively listened to my desires and provided detailed advice and options. For this project, we needed the chimney covers on two chase chimneys replaced and a reframing on one of them with rotted wood. Quality of Work: Stainless steel chase covers were powder-coated in black and caps and pipe painted to match. Thomas went out of his way to ensure we got the best looking result we could despite some hiccups on our communication on that end product. The result was very satisfactory. Pricing: Price was the best of three highly ranked Angie’s List companies and regardless, they price match. Chim Chim-Churee's expertise, practical scoping, willingness to explain the details of the project, timely communication, and excellent work took the hassle out of this project. Their willingness to ensure we got the product we wanted despite some miscommunications went a long way in building trust for future projects."
