Robert also replaced a failing capacitor that showed signs of failure (this was suggested to be replaced in the near future - we chose to do it today as it was an original part and was way past due for replacement). Robert also replaced the batteries in our thermostat, and provided info on their service contract plan. We opted to sign up for the service contract at $17.99 per month (2 tune-ups per year), which gave us a discount on the parts replacement (from $170.00 to $120.00). The original estimate for the call was $129.00. Robert was professional, friendly, and punctual. We were very satisfied with the service and look forward to working with him and supporting his family owned business in the coming years!"

The first evaluation was written as a complaint for a job completed but one that did not follow the all of the stipulations of the contract. This review is written to thank the individuals from NRG who took the first evaluation to heart and then dispatched a team to fix the areas of concern. I am delighted to report that the work completed today was done per the contract. Not only was the barrier wall built between the two condo units as originally promised, the attic was insulated with the additional blown in material, the old attic door sealed and caulked, pictures taken, and the area left clean and tidy. I am most grateful to the general manager, the quality control manager, as well as the insulators who made sure the job was finished per the original contract. NRG should be recognized as a company that not only took the time to read a customer service review but then acted, in a timely manner, to resolve the issues addressed in the complaint. "I had thought I purchase two hours of electrical service only to be informed that the actual work scope was essentially limited to changing light bulbs, fixtures on an existing circuit, or trouble shooting an existing problem....things that I can handle for the most part on my own. Even if I had all the materials to add a fixture onto an existing circuit, that was not considered part of the contracted scope. I also had been trying to arrange for someone to be home during period of time that service could be performed, and finally arranged for someone for an entire week (starting Monday 3/20) to permit the work to occur. The ADI scheduler informed me that all next week was taken."
