"We are a national Contractor doing work all over the US, jobs are small/medium in scale and the schedules are very tight and must be maintained, of the 50+ concrete contractors we will typically use each year, ProCrete is hands down at the top of the list. Great pricing, always on time with completions, quality of work is always excellent and they are always willing to go the extra mile (literally as they have done projects for me in NJ, NY, MD, DE). I only wish they were nationwide as I would give them ALL my work, without question!! Very Highly recommended!!"

"This was my second time using A-List Concrete. The outstanding work they accomplished replacing damaged sidewalk sections at my old home made this a no-brainer decision. Ron and his Team did another AMAZING job replacing the damaged concrete walkway at my new home. The workmanship is top-notch and the price was very reasonable. I was really impressed (again) by their attention to detail, including the clean-up. They even carefully replaced the sod pieces on my lawn, in addition to ensuring that my lawn and adjacent driveway was completely clean after the job. I give A-List Concrete my HIGHEST recommendation for ANY concrete work you may need in the South Jersey area."

"It went well there was an extra $45 charge for the rubber seal and it was provided in the summer time in July of 2014. Upon initial visit he was on time, when he had to bring back the glass with a rubber seal he came on a random day with no appt and just showed up even though we had an appointment and he never showed.  Fast forward to winter time when we were actually using the fireplace unit and from the get go it had a gas smell to it.  I called the service provider of which told me in July that he will be servicing my fireplace if anything needs to be done he will be here to fix the problem.  I called him set up an appointment for 1/6/2015 at 2pm.  It was 3pm I called him to find out where he is because there was a no call/ no show.  I reached him at his number to find that he was "at another job that lasted too long, I can be there in a 1/2 hour".  It sounded as though I woke him up and he was at home.  I told him that I will not be interested in his services any longer.  My gas fireplace is not able to be used to this day. <br /> <br />"

"Damon is a pleasure to work with and the quality of the work was excellent. Before the work started, Damon explained in detail what he was going to do and we discussed several options. He gave us a date for when he would be able to start, and both started and finished on time. The portico is now better than the original in both construction quality as well as looks. Damon made some excellent suggestions for how to finish the portico to provide a better appearance. We were so pleased with Damon's work that we had him do some additional work while completing the portico. I would definitely work with Damon again and highly recommend him."

"Marco was responsive when I inquired about hiring him. I had previously been assembling a metal backyard gazebo when I fell off a ladder while installing the roofing panels. I was injured in my fall and called Marco about finishing the gazebo assembly. Marco was responsive to my inquiries and he arrived a few days later to finish the gazebo. Marco showed up on time, offered a fair price for his services and was absolutely competent in his completion of the task. He worked quickly and kept the work area clean and organized. Moreover, he had an affable, professional demeanor. But the most important aspect of hiring him was his attentiveness to his customers. He called when asked to call and was super responsive via text message regarding all aspects of the job. I highly recommend him to other potential customers and I'd be happy to hire him in the future."

"They do chimneys and masonry work.  We've used them in the past and we were happy.  We just re-contacted them again for some more work.  We've actually talked to them twice and twice they were supposed to get us the estimates which we haven't received yet.  There is nothing we quite dislike except this time since they haven't dropped off the estimate yet and that kind of irritates me but I'm a little more patient than my wife.  She tells me they haven't come by again, that she called them again and they said they would but they didn't come by again.  I don't know if this is a too small of a job for them that they just don't want to be bothered with it.  They did a nice job when they re-pointed the chimney for us.  We were very happy with it because it was getting to that crumbling stage and they brought it back to life.  I don't have anything to compare their price to.  We tried to find somebody who does pointing and fix some old stones but a lot of people apparently don't do that.  These were the only people that showed up going to North Jersey because that is where most of the other people were that seemed to have these kind of skills.  We didn't think that was going to be smart because they had to drive two hours down here.  They were good with punctuality.  The last time they came and worked when they said they were and they did not stop till they finished.  We were quite happy with them which is why we called them back.  We hope to hear from them soon."

"Wonderful. Last year we had Edward Griffin Masonry, LLC complete a colossal overhaul of our home’s exterior. We live in a twin in Ardmore, and the home’s stucco had been significantly compromised. It was determined by multiple stucco remediation inspectors that we needed to have the entire stucco exterior replaced. After conducting extensive research online, reviewing news articles, interviewing professionals in the building and legal professions, and getting quotes from four of the most respected stucco remediation firms in the Philadelphia metro area, we decided to hire Ed Griffin. We had Ed remove the stucco and replace it with Certainteed vinyl siding. In addition to the stucco, much of the wood sheathing needed replacement, along with doors, windows and surrounding woodwork. He improved the look of our masonry porch columns, exterior wall, and rear foundation; and he hung new gutters and downspouts, removed light fixtures and added new ones. We also hired a third-party oversight professional to ensure the job was done correctly. Ed’s crew was professional, well-organized, hard-working, and highly-skilled. They secured the work area at the end of every day so our home was well-protected from the elements. Griffin Masonry and Ed himself were a pleasure to work with. Ed’s highly-competent and well-respected, gave great advice, is a good listener, and ably responded to our preferences and custom requests. We highly recommend Griffin Masonry for any stucco remediation project."

"Everything went great. I had an inspector come out and give my husband & I a free assessment. The inspector was honest and knew exactly what he was talking about. We decided that night that we wanted to go with this company and they had a crew out the next day! All the guys were professional and got the job done in 2 days. I would recommend this company to everyone."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Ventnor City, NJ

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
