I got a few estimates for a drain because of water coming into my basement and decided to go with this company based on speaking with the owner Dave (Great Personality) and a fair price. He was very through walking me through each step of the process and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I needed to have the work done as soon as possible as I'm in the process of moving and with all the rain we've had and the rest of the week was not looking good with more rain to follow. He told me they were extremely busy and wouldn't be able to squeeze me in for a couple of weeks.The other company could start in a few days and their price matched Watchman by a hundred dollars. The next morning I get a call from Dave and he told me they had a cancellation and could start the work the immediatley I was thrilled! "On 1st unit, techs added a lot of freon and cleared the blocked drain line from the blower. The continuous running on the the second unit has been a recurring problem that had been treated prior as thermostat problem. The problem has always returned after thermostat replacement. The AAA tech is the first to examine the blower thoroughly and discover a bad module as the problem. Hopefully, this will be a lasting fix."

"This team of painters is on time and they get the work done.   They are also nice enough and offer their experienced opinions.   They are very good at cutting a line, which is important when there's a trim work to be done.  They gave advice on the brand and quality of paint to use, which we followed.  However the primer was not necessary in that process.  We purchased it ahead of time, I would say to discuss your plans with the painters before you purchase.  There were some places where the coverage was not adequate, when my husband pointed that out, they continued to paint.  We have some areas still like that in a bedroom, but due to time constraint and visitors coming the next day, we did not contact the painter to finish these touch ups.   Our home doesn't have great lighting, it would have been great if the painters came with painting lights to be able to evaluate their own work and complete to a high standard on their own, verses us pointing that out.  They were neat enough, and we had a lot of stuff piled in the center of our rooms (no ceiling work done, no drop cloth necessary).  They really get it done, I commend them on providing very good quality and doing so quickly!

"Vista started this job 9/17. From the beginning we were told by the salesman Eric and project manager Keith that the job would be finished to our satisfaction, all our concerns would be addressed. The roofing went well, we are pleased. The siding was a bigger job than they seemed prepared for. They removed wood siding and replaced rotten plywood. The siding looked fine except for an area in the front of our home which is vertically uneven. Holding a straight edge to the siding we have a one inch gap in the vertical level which was not properly prepared. Some our window frames are horrible. One of them has nails driven right in the center of the frame, others have gapping joints and one is wavy. They replaced our perfectly fine topped gutter with a 'top of the line' gutter which isn't topped so is now full of leaves. We live in the woods what were they thinking? At the signing of this contract our salesman Eric said he would do some porch screen framing and stain our new front door. He wanted payment of $600 stating this was his side job. After many, many phone calls, most being ignored, we have gotten no where. Brian Rudd finally came out and told us these problems would be corrected. Last we heard from him was 11/17. He emailed that the siding crew would be out that week to correct window trim. We never heard from or saw any of them again. They never installed the stove vent, stained the front door or corrected our siding issues. I've waited for spring thinking I would hear from them. Too bad, things started out well. Not a good company."

"Bottom line, right at the top:In Spring 2013 I hired Top Notch Quality Service to rehab a 3-bedroom apartment.They did a great job, and I'll definitely hire them again!
A few notes...This is the second time I'd hired Top Notch. In summer 2012, they did some light carpentry and cabinet repair for me. I was impressed enough that I asked them to bid on the apartment rehab.Their estimator Jim Barry knows his stuff. He understood what I was trying to do, and had good suggestions for better ways to get what I wanted... Sometimes, he'd even suggest cheaper alternatives that would look or last better.The job's crew chief, Dan, has an amazing set of skills and kept everything moving. Their staff and subcontractors were competent and easy to work with.Top Notch brought enough people to do the job right. At one point they had half a dozen carpenters, painters and cleaners working in the same apartment.They did the "little things" that weren't in the bid, but make the project better. Like, continuing the laminated flooring through the walk-in closets... even though paint or carpet would have been cheaper for them. Or even getting a new battery for a smoke alarm that started beeping on the last day of the job.They finished way ahead of schedule. We had allowed 3 1/2 weeks. They worked nights and weekends without charging extra, and were done in 13 days. As a landlord, this was pure gold for me... and I had the place rented a few days later."
