"I hired this company to replace a 75-gallon gas water heater, and the experience was excellent. Scope of work: Removal and disposal of existing unit Installation of new Rheem 75-gallon gas water heater Reconnection of gas, water, and venting The team was prompt, professional, and clearly experienced. They provided a clear explanation of the installation process, answered questions directly, and completed the work efficiently. I valued their use of text messaging to arrange the work, as it was most efficient and allowed me to share photos of the work area so they could plan the installation in advance. The installation was clean and well-executed, with attention to proper setup and safety considerations. Pricing was transparent and consistent with the scope of work. There were no surprises. "They contacted me right away, set up an appointment, came and did a wonderful presentation that was on a Tuesday. I had other contractors in between. They already sent me their estimates. I waited till that Saturday. And I emailed him, that I wanted to get his estimate. Never received anything. The following Monday, I called his number. He never got back with me. I told him what I wanted. He never got back to me. On Tuesday, which would have been a week after he was here. I called H L Bowman, and spoke with somebody there. She said she would check into it, and she would have an estimate to me within a day or two. And they never got back with me. I never got an estimate. And we checked our email address. Make sure everything was good. Never received anything. And here it is like, over two weeks later and havent heard a word from them. "

"What I thought would be a simple snaking turned out to be a month long adventure working alongside James (owner) and John at Mac Home Services. Mac Home was excellent. Immediately addressed any issues, worked steadily (even through the holidays!) to resolve pressing plumbing issues, kept me well up to date, were very reasonably priced all things considered. I would absolutely use them again for any plumbing issues. I can't say enough good things about the experience overall. My house was built in the late 1800s and ad-hoc added on to over the years with varying degrees of professional work and Mac work well to fix it all. I never felt like they were having me on (as a young-ish woman owner) or upselling me on anything."
