The C responsiveness and C Punctuality related to the following: (1) a prearranged appointment resulted in a no show by the company head (this is not our residence); and (2) the representative that did come the next day did not have any photos of previous work or paperwork to move the project ahead. If it wasn't for Margret in the front office we would not have used this company; however, she went out of her way to get a photo of a cut out, ensured that the proposal was revised for details, and scheduled the work. Like I said in the beginning, I would gladly hire and recommend this company. Just be sure to confirm appointments."

"The owner of Stone Depot, Nick Papas, offers hands on professional service.   I am a realtor, so great service is part of my professional standard and I appreciate it in others.  Nick was always available by phone and was very responsive.  I was nervous about selecting my granite, and I changed my mind at the last minute.   Nick was very gracious and allowed me to select another granite that I preferred. His team arrived for the installation on time and did an outstanding job.  The was a minor issue with caulking, and Nick sent someone out the next day to finish it off.  I could not be more happy with my granite and Stone Depot.  I was advised to personally select my slab of granite - which I did.  All granite is different, so that was good advice.  The location for selection was in Sterling VA, which was great for me since I live in VA.
I also checked out Counter Intelligence, but found the salesman was not very concerned and did not go the extra mile to get my business.  I  had to drive all the way to Silver Spring MD to look at samples of granite slabs.  That was to far to go.  Also, their price quote was higher.  The smaller company atmosphere at Stone Depot was a much better choice for me.  I highly recommend them!

He gave a detailed account to Katherine, the Designer. Her design gave me everything I needed- plenty of storage in the kitchen. My budget was small, but they stayed on budget and provided quality and stylish materials-kitchen cabinets, backsplash, countertops, sink & flooring. Bathroom tub, tile surround, flooring and accessories. Grober, Johnny and the tile guy are master craftsmen. They did an excellent job, meeting every repair challenge and putting up with me. I am very happy with this company. Hope to work with them again."

We did a major renovation of our home that ultimately resulted in a new home with all new spaces on the interior and exterior. Ron, Mark and the guys from Kitchen and Bath were exceptional. At no time in the project did we have any problems or anxiety about the job. They completed the renovation ahead of schedule and never asked for any more money above our agreed upon price. We lived in the home for the entire 5 month period and the team was clean and respectful of our space at all times. After pricing out many of the other construction companies and design/build firms K&B came in at the best price among the group. Most importantly the finished product exceeded our expectations.  They are true professionals and deserve to be considered among the best in the region. "Jud is the name of the founder of the company and he would be retiring shortly and would be taken over by David. They don’t have any sub-contractors and they have all their own crews for plumbing, tile installation. They gave us one on one advice for selecting tiles for our house. They gave us some ideas and also how to minimize the cost and also gave us idea as to how it would look. They have their own warehouse and showroom where we can see almost everything that they offer and installed. The same folks who are in the showroom are the same people who do installation in my house. Everyday before they left they used to make sure that there was no dust and would clean it up by themselves. They used to treat it as though it was their house. We had some other people who had done the tile installation before and they used to wash their pant in the bathroom sink and we had replaced it earlier but these are amazing and very neat. They are the only people who are suppliers as well as do installation of tiles. I would rate them high overall. They do email and also call up. I would use them again the future."
