"Joe Stillman was an amazing contractor who repaired our roof and other inside damage from a fallen tree. There was extensive damage to parts of our house. He brought in an engineer to verify the correct repair of structural damage . Joeâ s team did ceiling and drywall in many rooms as well as painting, flooring, and plumbing. He was easy to work with and very honest. Joe made a stressful situation better because he took the time to answer our questions and make sure the job was done right. He also worked closely with our insurance company. I highly recommend All Phase Construction for home repairs and remodeling. Our home looks fantastic as a result! An honest company who does quality work! When they were done, their cleaners finished up and everything looked brand new!!"

"The kitchen was completed gutted and rebuilt within 3 weeks. Matt worked with us on every aspect of the remodel and addressed everything we had on our wish list. On all the projects Matt and his people were here every day until the work was completed to our satisfaction. When they left each day the work site was spotless. We have been happy to recommend MNB Renovations to our friends and family and plan on having Matt back when we are ready for our next project(s)."

"John and his son Brian completed a full kitchen remodel at our house. It was a fairly big project including removing a wall, closing up a window, flooring, cabinets, appliance install etc. They were both able to do all the work themselves, not needing to hire subcontractors as was the case with many of the other contractors we spoke to. The work itself is of great quality, the job took a little longer than expected but they both made sure it was done to perfection. We would hire them again for future projects."

"Silvio came promptly around 9:00 AM and went right to work. He is diligent and very professional. He gave me good advice and honest feedback on the work he did. The weather stripping did not work out and he advised me against it. He was there primarily to install the drawers. I showed him the other smaller jobs to see if he could do the work, which he did. He didn't even charge me for the smaller repairs.  <br /> I appreciated his hard work and honesty. I believe he treated my home as if it were his own.  <br /> I plan to have him return in the Spring to do some outdoor maintenance as well. So happy I found him. <br />"

"It went extremely well and I could not be more pleased. Pete was great, very professional and worked straight through until all work was completed.  Some of the fixes were extremely difficult but Pete kept his cool and got the job done.I have used other plumbers in the past and there is no comparison. I have scheduled him for more work to be completed within the next week or two. I wouldn't use anyone else for my home repairs."

"I am very pleased with my experience with Funari Public Adjusters. From the beginning, it was clear that Chris has significant experience with insurance claims and home remediation/repair. The result that was likely after I first spoke with my insurance company was vastly different than the result Chris achieved for me. I now have sufficient funds from the claim to completely repair the water damage in my rental property. This would not have been case had I not hired Funari."

"We interviewed four contractors prior to John and screened several more. We had almost given up hope that our kitchen upgrades were within our budget. We were so relieved when we met John and his wife Sarah. They provided us with renewed hope and put together an IKEA galley kitchen design that we previously thought would not fit in our space. Spoiler: It works perfectly. John and Sarah provided us great advice through the design phase. Once the construction work started, our happiness with John and his team only increased. John is extremely detail-oriented and clean and he only works with like-minded vendors. The first floor of our home was kept extremely clean during the entire construction process. Floor protection, a dust shield on the kitchen space itself and constant vacuuming and cleaning by John’s crew ensured that we never felt like the construction was overtaking the house and my wife, who was pregnant at the time, didn’t have to worry. This is the biggest project so far as newer homeowners and we were very pleased with John’s attention to detail and communication skills. We got to the point in the project where we trusted him to make decisions on our behalf because his attention to detail was so great. I remember several times walking the site after the crew left for the day and making mental notes of things I wanted to mention to John and the next day when he arrived, he would bring them up in conversation as if he anticipated my questions. Questions were encouraged, and none were considered too small or silly. John consulted us on little things I wouldn’t have thought of like cabinet layout enhancements and tile backsplash layout options. I also watched him recut a trim piece several times to ensure it was the perfect fit and not just an adequate fit. Most contractors would have been content with the first one and moved on, but not John. John is also generally a nice guy. Unrelated to the remodel, a pipe froze in another part of our house and he gave us advice on how to thaw it and followed up over the weekend to check on us. We highly recommend John Mitchell. He and Sarah helped us envision our ideal kitchen and made us realize it within budget while remaining communicative throughout the process. We felt informed and in good hands the entire job and plan to use him for our full bathroom remodel in the future. Our kitchen went from being our least favorite room to our favorite and receives daily use and has held up great."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in West Grove, PA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
