"Everyone with this company is so polite and helpful. John and Patrick worked so hard to figure out why my new washing machine wouldn't drain properly. They were determined to figure it out before they had to leave. And they did! Two really hard working, polite, caring young men. I would highly recommend Seaside Plumbing."

"The project was completed seamlessly and Jim and his helpers were competent, hard-working and didn't mind explaining what was going on every step of the way! His years of experience are evident, and make him a great diagnostician and problem-solver. He even went out to buy stone to line the bottom of the trench dug outside of the house to insure that the new pipe would be stabilized underneath! There were a number of things that could have been complications (like tree roots, and breaks in the pipes going to the septic tank), but it was clear to me that Jim would be able to address them, if they did surface. This was the kind of thing that makes a homeowner very nervous, so I was so relieved that I had Jim do this work. Experienced, competent, honorable, and a really nice guy! So glad that I won't have to conduct searches for a plumber in the future!"

"If you have a water softener or filtration project, I highly recommend Orbit Energy & Power. I had a very favorable experience with the company . Scott Cullin, the sales tech was very accommodating with scheduling our initial appointment. He was on time, asked about our project scope, performed his water tests and made a recommendation based on the findings. He was not high pressure at all. I advised that I was getting competitive proposals and it would be a few days before I made a decision. Orbit's equipment is the most efficient, seems to be the best quality, and quite frankly had the best warranties. The installation went well. The installer removed old equipment and installed the new softener and filtration kit. He was in and out within the 3 hour time window specified. He answered all the questions I had for him during the installation. Once everything was done and cleaned up, he went through the operation with me, explaining how everything worked and what things to keep an eye on. Very good experience. I will definitely use them again"

"Sens Mechanical was great. They showed up promptly, did a great job, and were very professional. Our problem involved the main sewer line and they spoke with the County people when they arrived and helped them to understand the issue. They went way above and beyond. I highly recommend them."

"Generally, the project went well. I found this contractor at a home show held in the Baltimore area. The salesperson who manned the booth was very knowledgeable and friendly. The company also offered a special price for people who contacted them after attending the home show. The price I was quoted was far better than other estimates I received. I received welcome help when I went to their showroom to select my granite slab. Being a novice, I appreciate that they strongly recommended looking at full slabs. They were very clear that a tile sample could not adequately convey what the countertop would look like. It was easy to set up an appointment for measurement and to establish the install date. On the install day, the crew arrived on time and got right to work and finished in a timely manner.
Overall, the installation was done well, but I don't think the granite was cut correctly in the first place. I was distressed at the large gaps that appeared in places between the backsplash and my kitchen wall. The gaps were sometimes large enough so that I could insert insert my fingers. A knife dropped into the gap could easily be lost. When I asked the foreman about the gap, he told me the gap occurred because the wall was not plumb in those places. I recognize that my walls may not have been plumb, but walls are rarely perfectly plumb. I think the initial measuring and cutting should have accounted for that. I did not have this issue with the old laminate countertops that were installed before the granite. If, for some reason, the measurement could not account for that, I should have been told at the time the measurement was made that there could be unusually large gaps between the backsplash and the wall.
To the credit of AGS, when I expressed my dismay about the gap after the installation, they offered to come back out and fill in the gap with my choice of clear or white silicone, at no extra charge. They did that. They were very efficient, but could have done a better job about wiping away excess seepage so that the silicone would dry in a straight line over the top of the backsplash. They also clearly stated that the wall behind the backsplash needed to be painted before the silicone was applied, since repainting would be difficult or impossible once the silicone was applied. For that, I was grateful. AGS also provided a cutting board that was made out of my granite slab. I love it and use it constantly. The installation of the sink and faucet went well and look terrific.
Bottom line: I think AGS is a good contractor and I would consider hiring them again. I think their prices are fair and they conduct themselves professionally. The piece of granite that was installed is beautiful and I love that they managed to cut it so that there are no seams. Having no seams enhances the beauty of granite significantly. But I am disappointed that the juncture between the backsplash and my wall just doesn't look as good as what I've seen in other homes. In some places, it even looks a little messy. The entire installation should have been terrific. That is what I felt I was paying for. Instead, while the granite slab itself and the sink and faucet are beautiful, the overall look is only okay because of juncture between the backsplash and the wall.

"They were very responsive to my inquiry and showed up on time to discuss the project. They were helpful and knowledgeable but it turned out I wanted a different type of solution so their service wasn't a good fit for me. However, had it been, I wouldn't have hesitated to consider them doing the work"

"We called Vincent on a Sunday morning for an emergency cleaning since we were leaving for vacation Monday evening. We had a huge flood from the ac unit in our attic and we thought it was due to the gutters being clogged, not allowing the water the properly drain. When I called he informed me he was located approx. 2 hrs from my home so I immediately thought there was no way he would come out on a Sunday to clean gutters. However, he called back and offered to send someone if we couldn't find another company. We agreed to a time and Jamie showed up at 2:00 and immediately went to work. He also went in the attic to check the issue. Although, the gutters were not the issue the service and response time was fantastic. I would highly recommend using them."

"These guys were excellent. I had originally hired them because I needed a major rush job done and they pulled it off. Then they
continued after the main issue was resolved and came back multiple times to do an extremely thorough job waterproofing the basement. Whereas we would find puddles down there before, we have not had any issues since they were there. They did all kinds of things ? from putting some kind of stripping on the base of the walls to building an entire roof over my back stairs to adding a French drain to putting covers on all the basement windows. And they did all this for significantly less money than other companies quoted us - and those other guys did not offer nearly as much work! Incredible.
The one lack I would say this company had was the timing issue. On more than one occasion were told they were on their way, but they only showed up hours later. Also, sometimes they would be working in the basement and kind of just disappear without the work being finished, later explaining they had to run to another job. All of which was fine with me ? after the initial work, we weren?t in a big rush. But it is something to note.
Notwithstanding that issue, we were very pleased and are recommending them to anyone who asks about such services.
