"Mike was on time and began work immediately.  He was very punctual when it came to calling inspectors throughout the project and we never had an incident with regard to any of the inspections necessary. <br /> <br /> Mike designed and installed two separate, but connected cabana areas (one of which is attached to our house in the yard).  The other cabana area, which houses an in-ground hot tub,  is attached to the initial larger cabana.  Mike uses the best material possible that he hand-picks himself which is extremely important to achieve the highest quality workmanship.  He installed the roof for the cabanas which he matched perfectly with our existing house and all the gutters and soffits that also match perfectly with our existing house.  He gave us many options to choose from with regard to cosmetic additions to our cabanas including designer pole covers with crown.   <br /> <br /> Mike is extremely confident in the work he provides and will be honest with you if he feels something will or will not work.   <br /> <br /> It has been 4 years since we had the cabana installed and are still extremely happy and confident in the structures.  Both cabanas could withstand a Florida hurricane and that's no exaggeration.  We are so confident in Mike's workmanship, we had him install a beautiful pergola in our yard over the bar by our pool.   <br /> <br /> We have had many compliments from family, friends and neighbors with regard to the cabanas and pergola and could not be more happy with the work Mike has performed.   <br /> <br /> To all of you looking to find an honest, hard-working contractor, Mike's your guy. <br />"

"Chairs were recalled due to a potential hazard. Manufacturer could not produce a satisfactory redesign so they were replaced with a different model. Northwest Metalcraft did everything possible to make sure that we were satisfied. We are going back there to have our three fireplaces re-done."

"Although crew generally tried to clean up on a daily basis, there were some cleanliness issues, namely, inadequate protection from concrete dust (e.g. no plastic sheeting to protect stored possessions) and carpenters wearing same muddy footwear as had been worn working outside on decks at other jobs.   Duration of job was much longer than expected due to crew working on other, outdoor, jobs intermittently. On the positive side, several additional services involving electric and carpentry were performed as requested after work began."

"I called Bret-Mar for an estimate for landscaping around my bare patio. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, I just wanted some privacy screening for the hot tub, and around the patio. Sharon had great suggestions for what to plant and where, showed me lots of photos to help visualize the end result. I asked her for suggestions on the side and front of my house as well. The estimate for the patio was pretty good,so I decided to add on the rose garden on the side, and replace a small evergreen tree in front with a weeping cherry tree. They did everything in one day, despite the heat and a sudden storm! They planted aborvitae in the hot tub area, a beautiful Prariefire crab tree, surrounded by shrubs, put an outcropping stone step off the patio, and moved an ornamental treee and some perennials around the rest of the patio, and mulched everything. It all flows together beautifully! I would recommend Bret-Mar to everyone!"
