"Initial phone contact good, pleasant conversation with owner who requested photos and then came (although an hour late) to scheduled appointment.
After sending in deposit for work, had to wait longer than the expected (promised) time for work to be started and completed which was need by deadline set by my home owner insurance company
Had to call owner and remind him  close to deadline at which time he promised to get work finished soon but gave no definite date.
Finally  called and came to do work and assured me that he could complete on his own without my being present.
Returned to find job finished but not well done.   Side  hand rail severely bowed,  porch rails not carefully installed - misaligned with porch concrete runners.  Since I was under severe time pressure from insurance company did not challenge but unsatisfied with the work done.
overall impression:  small 1-2 man operation which rushes to jobs as they come in ;    fair-poor  overall workmanship
would go with an established more professional firm next time

I purchased the deal for contractor for the week which is really about 35 hours of contracting labor.  Overall, the experience went well.  Myriad did a lot of work between two properties; one of which is a rental and the other a newly purchased home.  They did the below for me:

Hung two ceiling fans

Replaced trim around exterior of sliding glass door (installer did use non paintable caulk which caused some issues trying to paint it)

Replaced trim around garage access door

Planted a 4 foot tree

Replaced gate hardware and rehung

Sealed fence and deck

Installed ceiling mounted storage for garage (owner did cut himself pretty badly in the process and we had to call an ambulance)

Cleaned gutters

Painted some of the trim in our dinning room

Overall, Myriad was very punctual and professional through all of the work.  Some of the work probably could have a little more attention as noted above.  If I had one gripe I would say they shorted me about 3 hours of work as one of the first days they were supposed to plant the tree and seal the fence/deck.  Unfortunately it had unexpectedly rain that morning allowing him to only plant the tree and he stated the rest of the time would be credited; however, the worker ended up leaving the company between that appointment and the next one and that was never passed along.  Probably more my fault for not being a stickler in terms of the overall amount of hours remaining.  Either way, I would still recommend Myriad as they did good work at a good price and I would consider them a trustworthy company.

"The workmanship was excellent. The work was a bit complicated as custom design elements had to be integrated with existing structure but the Kargmans team was professional and adapted well and did a great job. I am especially impressed with Marcos and his abilities. The only weakness in the experience was the communications with the front office could have been a little bit better as the initial list of materials we were provided with was wholly inadequate for the work that needed to be done. It would have been better to have an installer come a few days earlier and give a more comprehensive list of materials that needed to be bought. Overall, definitely a good experience"
