He ripped out the strangeness and replaced it with clean, straight connections that are properly fixed to walls and ceiling studs. It turned out that previous owners had installed the wrong type of PVC pipes on the hot water lines. That's why it leaked if you looked at it crosswise. We now have the correct piping and basement is dry and pretty. And I can run hot water to laundry without buckets on floor to catch leaks. Yippee! <br /> Would I hire this guy again? Oh yes!!! When we're ready to rebuild basement bathroom next year, this is the guy I'll call. <br />"
