"Concrete lifting. Highly recommend. A concrete pad on the side of the garage was sinking and had dropped about 16 inches below level grade. I wanted the ground stabilized so that it would not pose a threat to the garage, and I wanted the concrete lifted as much as possible back to level. I did not expect it to be completely made level, but I hoped it would be improved as close as possible to level. Raymond and Mike did an outstanding job! Their customer focus was at the top of their priorities. They set realistic expectations and far exceeded them. They kept me involved in the key decisions all through the day. Each time I went to see their progress I kept being surprised at the level of achievement they had already met. There were problems with our slab being thin and unreinforced but they worked creatively to overcome the issues. I will see what happens with the warranty and how things progress in the future, but my expectations are good. Their word was not full of hype and marketing puffery, but if anything it was understated, realistic, and totally credible so I have a good feeling about the future of their repairs. I already recommended them to a neighbor.."

"Lift It Rite is a local Gainesville Georgia company. This was a professional job, from the estimate to scheduling the job, to completion. They showed up on time and ready to work. Both owners came out. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and professional. I had about a 20-foot section of decking that had sunken below the level of the adjacent concrete. The drop ranged from 1/4 in. in some areas to over 1 inch in one 3 foot section. A serious tripping/fall hazard. They swept up all the concrete dust from the holes they bored that was possible to get. Pumped the foam and raised each area back to the level of the adjacent concrete, cleaning up the foam debris as they went. After raising the concrete, they took a concrete saw and cut the jagged concrete along the original joint line to produce a smooth line. Then they filled that area with a liquid foam like a backer bar, pushed it down into the joint line then smoothed it with a wire wheel once it had dried(One of the other service providers charged an additional fee to seal the joint line). Finally, they sealed the holes they had drilled and did a final cleanup. They did this in 2 hours! And that includes setting up the equipment and putting it all back in the truck. And the price was the most reasonable of the three companies I got estimates from. I will use Lift It Rite if I ever need concrete raised in the future. And I highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service."

"Floors Sag or Shake was one of three estimates we got to reinforce the sagging floors in four rooms of our older home. We went with them based on the work they proposed and their positive online reviews, and we are completely satisfied with their work. They worked over three days to pour concrete footings, jack up the floors as best as possible, and then add permanent supports. They also removed an old vapor barrier and installed a new one. Each day, they arrived early and worked through the day. They communicated well and were courteous and professional. Prior to their work, our floors were not even close to level. More importantly, when walking on them, we could feel them "giving" under our weight. Now, our floors feel solid and look level throughout the house. While this type of work isn't as "fun" as other renovations, the cost of this repair is worth the peace of mind. Every time we walk across our floors, we are reminded of our investment. We also feel good about the transferable warranty—should we ever sell our home, a prospective home owner will have a good indicator that we invested in keeping this home safe and stable. "Dealing with Mark Rownd and the rest of his crew was great. Not a single problem or concern - something I've come to realize is a rarity with construction jobs today.
I had gotten multiple quotes from a lot of other companies, including many of the top rated Angie's List companies, and noted wide price swings, frequent no-shows for quote appointments, and some very substantial inaccuracies provided by them.
Concrete Work's prices weren't the lowest quote I got, but Mark was honest and up-front and I felt that I could trust him and the company. I wasn't wrong as I'm very pleased with the work that was done and hope to have Mark and Concrete Works back again for more planned projects.
To be completely candid - I never met Mark Rownd or had any dealings with Concrete Works before this project, so this is a true unbiased customer review, but I wouldn't consider using anybody else but them for all of my projects.
I wish all of the construction companies were like these guys - I'd have a lot less gray hair!

"We hired Signature Decks and Patios to design us a new Patio.
They came up with a great design and a affordable price that meet our budget. We did shop around but the design was what sold us.
They were able to start before the starting date which was great for us. The job took 4 days with a crew of 5 men. The patio was approximately 650 sq.ft. There was a bench around the fire pit and a Arbor over the sitting area. Were so happy with our new patio. The construction crew and the team leader was a treat to work with. Everything was done before the completion date which was good for us because we had company over the holidays.
A enjoyable experience. Will use again to landscape around it in the spring.
