"Their services were very good. It was just a rotor or the wheel, he said it was probably the clutch going on it. He was very honest. I?m bias, I know that they sell them too. He kind of went over if we were to buy, what brands would be good. It was a good investment, we ended up buying a new one anyhow. At least we knew how long we had. It didn?t cost any more than the big deal price of $69. I gave them the credit card, they took it out and the fellow came. I don?t know if we had to sign anything, but he said that?s it we are all set. He did say that it probably wasn?t worth it to fix, by the time you pay for the labor and the parts and everything else. "I bought the $99 for Laundry and Kitchen Appliance Tune Up Plus a Garbage Disposal Inspection. I have inherited all my appliances from the previous home owner and I just wanted to get a sense of what might need to be replaced and which ones still had life in them. Usually these deals are more "inspection" and less "tune-up" or "cleaning". But I have to say that was not the case here. Richard (I think that was his name) arrived and got promptly to work. He cleaned out some glass and soap build up in my dishwasher and talked me through some warning signs and troubleshooting processes for other appliances. and even though it wasn't part of this deal, he took a look at my oven and microwave and fixed an issue where one of the burners wasn't producing flame through all the burner holes. I definitely recommend doing something like this at least once a year, especially if you purchased a home and got someone else's appliances."

"This provider was the third I called (all from Angies list with A ratings) but the first who answered the phone with a person versus voicemail. Since I needed help ASAP after my gas service was shut off due to a leak, I hung up on the voicemails.
The team came to my house within two hours of my call. 
They first checked my gas lines again to make sure Nicor didn't miss anything, using an air pressure testing method that Nicor did not bother with, but which gave better and more complete results.
Once that was done, and there was an initial cost for the service, which they discussed in full with me prior to commencing, they gave me a report on where the leaks were and what it wold take and cost to fix them. Two of the leaks were 'freebies' because there was trivial work involved (doping and tightening screw fixtures) and the other two required additional work. The price was reasonable, I approved the work, and they executed the whole thing in about 2 hours. They finished in time for me to have Nicor back out to reinspect and turn the gas back on the same day, so I can do laundry, cook dinner and bathe the kids again - no sleepovers at relatives waiting on a fix.
I will have them back out to do other, unrelated work in the future for certain."
