My preventive maintenance window was from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Chris arrived at 10:00 a.m. He set about to check out my A/C system, added R22 (is it still called Freon?) coolant and cleaned my A/C unit. What was also refreshing is that I did not get a hard sell for any additional products, services or systems.  I am a new customer and will be a repeat customer. "We received about six estimates over the course of a year before choosing to work with Darrow and Mirsky Heating & Air Conditioning. His bid was considerably less than the others, but we chose Mirsky over the bigger companies because he is a real person who treated us like real people and more than just a sale. Darrow took the time to explain he recommended the system he installed and why we didn't need all the bells and whistles other companies were trying to force on us. The work took a full week with permits, when we'd been quoted 2-3 days (by everyone), but we didn't mind. The rule of the triangle says fast, cheap or good -- pick two. Darrow didn't charge us a penny more than the original estimate, despite the many surprises our old setup and the inspectors presented. "They are very good. I use Lenox products and I get them through Costco and I have been very happy. So far they have been very good. Rowland Air was just the one I choose cause I need to repair my downstairs heating system. I have them replace it with one of their Lenox unit and it's an excellent system. It's a state of the art unit and functions very well. It comes with one of these Honeywell thermostat which can be control remotely by your cell phone. It has an internet link and so you can set it up like a complete system or manually control it from anywhere in the building as long as you can get cell service. Quality presentation and workmanship is excellent. All around satisfied. I was very happy with it. The sales people told the truth, and they did what they say it will do. The unit is functioning perfectly. Excellent installation, no sloppy working.
