"Two hours of plumbing services purchased through Angie's list for $99.00.   First appointment was cancelled due to emergency cold weather issues for plumber who needed to thaw frozen pipes for other customers. I waited and then needed to call him back to make another appointment happen. Needed a new stopper in the tub which was close to but a bit under $50.....he stated it was easier to round off the number and charged me $50 for the part. He fixed the level of hot water available in the 3 bathrooms."

"The repair went great! The central air went out late Sunday night and Johnson Brother's Plumbing and Heating were able to schedule coming to the house that Wednesday, which was the earliest, based on the other companies we called. Repair technicians were on time, found the problem quickly -- had a bad capacitor. Technicians had correct part in their truck and replaced the part within minutes. Almost immediately, cool air was being blown through the vents. The technicians checked the air conditioning temperature and verified system was working correctly. <br> <br>The technician explained what the capacitor does and answered my questions about the part, then showed me the bad capacitor, explaining when the top of the capacitor is pushed out it's an indication that the part is bad. <br> <br>The price was reasonable and the house was back to being cooled. The technicians also liked dogs, so I didn't have to lock my dogs up. <br> <br>I would definitely use Johnson Brother's Plumbing and Heating again."

"A father and son team, Bart and Brandon, came out and were quick to exchange my old water heater while also being detail oriented.  They noticed that the old water heater tank was placed somewhat centrally in my utility room, so they placed the new inches back so as to give my utility room greater space.  They also noticed that my copper pipes to the water heater were bent so they replaced that as well with flexible piping to alleviate any stress.  They also helped me fill out the extended warranty paperwork on the furnace and all I needed to do was mail it out with proof of receipt.  <br> <br>As for my furnace, Brandon cleaned it meticulously.  For an older furnace, it looks new again.  At the end of the job he took the time to go over all of the important shutoff valves, which he clearly labeled and zip tied to the respecting pipes, in the event of an emergency.  He also took the time to answer some of my 5.5 year old's question about how furnaces work, how hot water ends up in the family bathroom sink, and the dangers of carbon monoxide gas and how it's important to have CO detectors. <br> <br>Both Bart and Brandon were very professional and personable.  They are very much a family business and it shows in how they treat their customers.  I didn't feel that they were rushed at all and I appreciated that.  "

"I had a burst pipe in my basement that needed to be replaced and Lujan PSI was able to schedule me the day after I put in my Angi project. Luke was able to show up earlier than scheduled and completed the job quickly. Communication was clear, he gave me a few repair options to choose from, and a quote over the phone. His quote came in nearly 75% lower than another plumber that quoted me the day prior, which was more in line with what I expected to pay based on prior work I've had done. Very professional and polite, good warranty, highly recommended."

"I was extremely pleased with this experience. The technician, Ron, showed up right on time and went straight to work. He placed drop cloths to protect my carpet near the crawlspace where the clogged line was, and then fired up a power-rooter to clear the clog. The whole process only took about 20 minutes or so, and there were no unpleasant surprises. I felt that the cost was very reasonable for the service provided."

"The sweeps did an excellent job getting the fireplaces cleaned and explaining the issue with our gas log. We opted to cap off the gas line for now, so they didn't do the repair, yet, but we will call them when we're ready to get it working again. My only negative critique is that the sweeps did not use shoe covers and one of their vacuums left dust. Not a lot, but we had just had the carpets cleaned, so I am especially sensitive to the dust."

"Tyler is the best!!!  I had him come to the house last month because our carbon monoxide detector was reacting to something in the house.  He fixed a gas leak the same day I called for an appointment.  While he was here we discussed having the gas water heater replaced with an electric one since the warranty had expired.  We also have too many appliances in a small area (washer/dryer, gas furnace and gas hot water heater).  On 9/30/13 he replaced the water heater, replaced the gas line and cleaned and repaired the furnace.  He found a hole in the duct work and took care of that too.  During this entire process we found out that the contractor who replaced our furnace in 2006 never pulled a permit.  Tyler researched it for me and pulled a permit so that we could have the hot water heater and furnace inspected at the same time.  The job was done professionally and quickly.  Tyler and his wife, Hannah, were very easy to work with and they answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly.  I have no problem recommending this business to everyone!!! <br />"

FAQs for gas piping projects in Woodland Park, CO

Plumbers with proper licensing and credentials install and relocate gas lines. When hiring a professional, verify they have experience with gas systems and all required certifications. Some homeowners choose to work with plumbers specializing in natural gas installations, as they have extensive experience with similar projects and understand the safety requirements.

The timeline for gas line relocation varies based on project complexity, permit processing, and inspection scheduling. The physical labor takes a few hours to one day, depending on the line length. However, the actual installation work represents only part of the overall project timeline. Your contractor should provide a specific timeframe based on your circumstances and local permitting requirements.

Your gas supply must be shut off during the relocation process. This safety measure prevents gas leaks while connections are being modified. Plan for this temporary service interruption by making alternative arrangements for cooking, heating, or other gas-dependent systems in your home. The shut-off generally only lasts for a portion of the work, often a few hours.

Relocating gas lines to connect new appliances is a common reason for this type of project. Whether you're installing a gas stove, fireplace, dryer, or outdoor grill, a professional can determine the best route for extending your existing gas system. The cost will depend on the distance between your current gas line and the new appliance location.

Gas line work is not suitable for DIY projects. Natural gas is highly flammable and potentially lethal if not handled correctly. Gas leaks can be difficult to detect without specialized equipment. Professional plumbers have the proper training, tools, and experience to safely relocate gas lines while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards.
