They completed the job in less than one day and even hauled the old unit away. When the initial inspection of the unit was completed, the technician discussed all of the possibilities with the repair. He was honest with me and suggested replacing the unit and the furnace as well while he was there. I like that when he gave me the estimate, both the technician and I signed it. We asked them to save pur front porch light, so they tossed it into our garage and broke it. The contractor suggested we close up a doorway from our laindry room to kitchen since it can be accessed from the 1/2 bath, this made for cabinet space in the kitchen. Then we all noticed that the washer and dryer would not fit through thr doorway left. He says" a good contractor would have notice that too" then charged us $550 to widen it.
