"The whole process was very smooth. They came out and spent a couple of hours assessing the problems...turns out we had several. The water heater burner had failed and was under warranty. But they also discovered our pressure regulator had failed, our gate valve was frozen, and we had a pipe leaking in the wall! They found the necessary part for the warranty repair and drove 50 miles each way to get it rather than make us wait 1-2 days for for the part to be shipped. They stayed until all the problems were resolved which was greatly appreciated! (My wife and three daughters were not relishing cold showers!)"

I had to go with another vendor for half of that price with EXACT same steps to address the issue as they had offered and with great outcome. "It was a certain price for him to come out and fix a leak. He installed the water heater either the next day or maybe the same day. It was right away. I had him one day, and then the next day we noticed water coming out of our water heater. So I called him and he was on his way taking his daughter to school, which is just a block away from our house. So he stopped by and then went to work and brought back a new water heater and installed it. He is a nice person. You can tell. He just wanted to help us. He knew we needed a water heater and he fixed it for us right away."

"Master Serv does a very good "sell" in the estimate appointment - you learn all about their high quality materials, references, lifetime warranty, etc. The appointment takes a while because the estimator has to visualize and draw a diagram of where the new plumbing will be installed in order to calculate the cost (actually an impressive process). After reviewing the proposal and deciding to move forward, the estimator came back out to have us sign the contract. The job took a week and the crew was very professional. It's quite impressive to see surgery being done on your house. We had one issue immediately after completion - there was a leak at the water heater (we caught it in time to avoid major damage). We called the service number and someone was out later that afternoon/evening to fix it. Two re-plasterers came out and repaired the holes in the ceilings and walls the following week (two days work)."

"I called and setup an appointment for the afternoon.  The dispatcher called back in an hour saying the plumber was free earlier and came immediately.  He was there within an hour and gave me an estimate for the replacement and upgrade that I wanted.  I agreed to the price and within 3 hours I had a new water heater.  I can?t imagine where they could have done any better.
