In need of a quick response, we contacted Mike and within 45 minutes he dispatched help to us. Upon their evaluation it was determined that it really was an issue for the electric company to fix. Because the experts were able to give us the exact information to provide to the power company, our issue was fixed within a couple hours. Mike and his crew were very professional, fair and attentive to our needs. One always worries whether they can trust who they hire. I am convinced that Twin City is reputable and worth the phone call. I hope we never have a problem again, but if we do [or when we do remodeling], Mike will be called."

"I purchased a deal through Angie's List for one hour of home services from Kevin's Home Services.  When I opened the spigots to outdoor faucets, I found the valve stems leaking on the indoor shutoff, and on the outdoor hose faucet.  The interior shutoff was old and corroded, and sweat soldered in line.  I was afraid of trying to repack the valve stems because of the difficult location, and the corroded fittings.  Geoff, from Kevin's home service called and arranged to check the lines.  After checking the work, he came back the next day and soldered in a new in-line valve on the interior, including replacing part of the water line to make the valve more accessible. He replaced the exterior faucet fitting. 

  The work was very neat, Geoff was thorough and friendly, and we are very satisfied with the result. The interior shutoff is much more convenient and accessible. The work took a bit over the one hour included in the deal, but we were charged only for the hour.  Geoff supplied the parts, and charged an additional $30 for parts, which I think was very reasonable.

  A neighbor had a similar problem and on my recommendation she made arrangements for Geoff to come to her house the following day.  He replaced two interior shutoffs with in-line valves, and charged her for one hour and parts.  She, too is very satisfied with the service.

   After a week or so of use, we noticed that the new exterior faucet was very difficult to turn on or off, and dripped unless we put a lot of effort in turning it off.  I called and Geoff came out later in the day and switched out the exterior faucet with a different style which is much easier to turn on or off. There was no charge for this follow up.

  I recommend Kevin's Home service, and will use them again when needed. They are very easy to do business with, and provide excellent service at a reasonable price.
