"We had an issue with a Dry Well periodically backing up. Damian and the D Day Plumbing team were very professional and knowledgeable and provided an estimate with a couple different options and their related costs. They installed a new utility sink, sink pump, and needed piping and valves with tie ins to the main septic. They made improvement above and beyond the initial job breakdown, all the while staying within budget. I will certainly consider them again for any future work. Thank you Damian and the D Day Plumbing Team for a job very done!"

"I would thank them for the work and services. Max was very prompt and polite. We were definitely taken aback with the bill. We were not informed about any of the charges around: 1. Time taken for pulling the permit(1hour@$180) 2. Time for inspector coming in(1hour@$180) 3. Price for permit These 3 costs total to $425. The material cost of $263 definitely seemed marked up. * I wish they had mentioned about expecting these costs so that we could make an informed decision. * We have had several permits pulled in last year ( had frozen pipe burst situation so had renovations going on for multiple months) and never were charged for the time taken to pull permit or for inspectors time at the time of inspection. * Max mentioned it was going to be $180 an hour and you were here for 2 hours from start to end.. The father(Peter) kept mentioning about the emergency charges that there are plumbers that charge $300 an hour, I was clear that we were okay with waiting for a couple of days so there was no question of those charges being applied. He kept giving an explanation of the bill being high enough but it seemed very vague. We were charge $1100 for 2 hours of work to fix a slow gas leak that National grid had identified and pointed to us so they shut of our gas supply. National grid guys had told us that it would be only 1-2 hours of plumbing work. I would not recommend them for sure for the sour taste it has left for us. I wish we went with presidential plumbing or 128 plumbing that we have gone in the past. They are expensive but you know the quote before hand."

"Michael is hands down the best I’ve ever worked with. He’s exactly who you wish the folks working on your home are like. He has an amazing attention to detail, meticulous, and puts safety above all else. When he realized my boiler couldn’t be put in just yet because of further water damage, he had a water remediation company come in TWO hours to instantly start the process. When he realized my hoses needed updating, he made sure to call it to my attention and had them switched out. For work outside of his scope, he still makes sure to let you know what’s the best for future proofing your home. Above all, he’s communicative, on time, honest, and always there when I have a question. Plus, you can tell he really cares about his craft, and that translates to the job. He chooses the best solution for your situation. My only complaint is I wish he did literally everything else outside of plumbing! I’d want a Michael version of a carpenter, electrician, every day handyman. He‘s that good! "

"What I thought would be a simple snaking turned out to be a month long adventure working alongside James (owner) and John at Mac Home Services. Mac Home was excellent. Immediately addressed any issues, worked steadily (even through the holidays!) to resolve pressing plumbing issues, kept me well up to date, were very reasonably priced all things considered. I would absolutely use them again for any plumbing issues. I can't say enough good things about the experience overall. My house was built in the late 1800s and ad-hoc added on to over the years with varying degrees of professional work and Mac work well to fix it all. I never felt like they were having me on (as a young-ish woman owner) or upselling me on anything."

"No invoice transparency at Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical. I had an appointment on February 16, 2026, to troubleshoot a no-heat issue on the second floor of my home. I was told the repair would be $1,500. Although hesitant, I agreed to proceed because I needed heat. The repair was completed, I paid $1,524.90, and the technician left. I later realized I had not been provided with an invoice, so I called the company directly at 781 438 4114. The person who answered the phone emailed me an invoice. The invoice listed an HVAC diagnostic fee of $69.00, followed by ?HYD 170,? with no price or itemized breakdown provided. I understand that professional services and parts can incur significant costs, it is unreasonable that the part alone could account for the entire charge without any supporting documentation. I respectfully requested a detailed breakdown of the invoice through multiple phone calls and emails; however, the responses I received were dismissive and failed "

"Maffei worked out great, they came first to provide a quote, and then returned a few days later once I was ready to complete the work. Both the front office and field technicians were ultra-professional to work with, and I will not hesitate to hire them again in the future."
