"The Co. Sends you a pic of the person who will turn up, along with a profile (Family man, Harley rider, likes to fish), and his name & cell ohone number. I liked this a lot. He came earlier than originally scheduled, but they called to get permission first. He was very polite. He explained what happened (a pipe had burst over the winter to one of my two outside spigots because likely water was in the pipe and it froze, expanding the pipe and cracking it). He replaced that section of the pipe and put a turn off on it, so I will easily be able to drain the pipe in the fall. I showed him my other outside spigot , and I was pleased the fellow is honest and said I could add a turn off on this one, too, but it would cost another $450. or not do it, since there is no problem with it currently; besides, this one is just outside the living room wall and we would have to remove a bit of the inside wall to do it. I very much liked that he didn t try to push me into doing that, just to make another sale. That, alone, will get my next job done by this company. The work was fast & good. As far as the $, I didn t get other estimates so I don t know if the $450 I paid is within a normal range, and that s the only reason I gave price a half star less. Otherwise top notch company & work, and I will use them again if necessary."

I told him what needed to be done & he set to work & took care of everything. Local gas company had no problem with the job & turned my gas back on. Thank you Ryan. After finishing the tune up, I shared with him that I can smell gas in the laundry room or outside the house from time to time for the last year. He immediately checked the connections of the pipe for the dryer and found one wasn’t sealed and there was a gas leak. The previous owner had this house for 5 years and probably they experienced the same issue. Sam fixed the issue . "Mike at MPO came over to see what the job was about - putting in finish cabinet trim around a washer/dryer enclosure and other small finish items.
My standards are high. Mike wanted to wait to send his best finish carpenter, Octavio, because he was busy. The wait was worth it. The work was done with care and attention t my standards. Unlike other contractors, this time I was satisfied.
We ran into the need for a tool which Octavio did not have with him, so Mike had Octavio do a half day and return to finish with the right tool later on - the job was done right which is what mattered to me.
I do recommend MPO Builders for finish carpentry and a variety of related work and would call them again in confidence.
