Aerators replaced on several faucets. Shower arm replaced in master bath and new shower head installed. Shower/tub combo plumbing repaired. New faucet installed in kitchen. "I have a service contract with them. They ran the line in the basement and connected it to the stove. They had to be creative because they were running lines in an area not made for it. They came and did the job in one visit and haven't had any issues. It took about half of a day to complete this job.  I could have shopped around and gotten a cheaper price. I was comfortable with them. I didn't feel the need to go out and compare prices. I have a service contract with them."

However based on various options quoted and online prices for the same heater model, it seems that the premium for same-day service and 6 yr warranty on the labor and miscellaneous parts was over $500! If I were to do it over again, I think I could have survived a week without hot water and would have ordered my own heater. As it was, the labor (and overhead?) would calculate out to ca. $300/hr."

"I was in need of a new water heater. When I posted looking for an installer I was contacted very promptly. During the conversation we discussed type of heater I would need and was quoted a very reasonable price . "The company replied quickly and gave an estimate as requested. We were quoted for 2 new shut offs and 3-5 replacement shut offs. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. Sharkbite valves were installed. If I knew they were going to be used, I would have done the work myself. The plumber was proficient with the Sharkbites, I just expected that a pro plumbing company would solder. When the plumber left, there were no leaks, and I didn?t feel like making an issue of the other 2 valves which I wanted installed."
