We placed several calls and Quarry Hills was the only company to return our call. Michelle was very helpful with locating the same water heater within a short time frame as the gas heater that failed was still under warranty, to our surprise. She promptly scheduled a tech to our house by 1 p.m. the same day with the new water heater in tow. Seth was very knowledgeable and worked efficiently to get us back up and running. They were straight up with the cost and didn't exceed it when finished with the job. "They were very fast to respond to my call and were able to send someone within two hours. The replacement of the hot water heater went well. For the water pipes they use copper crimp fittings instead of soldering so it will be interesting to see how that holds up over the years. My only concern is how they ran the gas line. They use Gastite CSST which is fine, but the CSST is run so it goes downward then back up and then downward again before it enters black pipe that has a moisture trap. It seems to me that if there is any moisture it will end up in the CSST instead of the trap. In addition, there is a pretty good bend in the CSST right before it goes into the trap section. Also, Teflon tape was used on the all the joints instead of joint compound. I think I will get someone from a different company to come in and take a look at it."

To our relief, Mark was able to come out the very next day in the morning. Mark checked and tested numerous devices on the furnace. The faucet install required removal of an old faucet from a pedestal sink, the whole thing had to be taken apart and re-installed carefully; Joe (and Kyle/apprentice) did a tremendous job. They also fixed a leaking drain pipe from the bathtub, replaced a pressure gauge, capped a gas line, fixed 3 leaking valves, and replaced my old water booster pump with a new pump that required a slightly different hook up; all done with quality and professionalism. I waited a few weeks for this work, but it was worth it; plumbers, electricians are very busy right now. Joe was also right up-front with his schedule, which was good to know from the start.
