"Late Thursday evening I discovered a puddle of water on the floor by my A/C handler closet. I kept vacuuming it and trying to fix it myself but I couldn't located the point of exit for the drain in my foundation. After researching several A/C repair services, I decided to call Vale Plumbing, Heating & A/C. I called on Saturday morning, explained the situation and was told that I'd be next in line as soon as the tech in my area completed a current job. Within an hour, I received a call letting me know that help was on the way. Jason arrived shortly after and went right to work. A pipe in the closet had to be cut (to be able to pressurize the drain line, I believe). He located the drain exit and showed me where it is. Apparently a handyman had covered it when adding river rock into the landscaping few years ago. After clearing the drain, he installed a PVC U-joint at the end of the drain so that it will be easier for me to clear it myself in the future. This was a biggie for me. He also answered my questions and cleaned up after himself when he was finished. I was charged $109 (after a $20 discount) for the work he performed. My research indicated that the average cost for this service is $150 so I feel that the charge was very fair. He left me with an advertising magnet, which I put on the A/C handler and will definitely use the next time I have any problems. I can, without reservation, give Vale Plumbing, Heating and A/C (and Jason) my highest recommendation. <br />"

"If I could James (the owner) ZERO stars I would. Contacted him through home warranty service for an emergency plumbing repair as the expert plumber who could scope the line and detect the location of the leak that was causing sewer water to run under several floors in the house. He did not scope the line. Instead he said we had to demolish the wall where he expected the leak to be, then he would return. We demolished all walls where he said it would be and texted him pictures in the wall. He was supposed to return on Saturday morning. Then it became sometime Saturday. Then it became Sat or Sun. Meanwhile, water was still destroying more and more of the house. Then he ignored all calls and texts. (None were rude!) On Monday, we were finally able to contact him and he said he no longer wanted to do the repair. We lost a several days trying to stop sewer water from infiltrating our home. This is absolutely disgusting and all he did was complain when he first arrived that he wouldn't get paid enough to fix the problem. Definitely avoid this company!"
