"This has been updated, please read the ENTIRE review. While initially unsatisfied, I have been very happy with the followup! Original text: It was supposed to be $65 to diagnose the issue (surging water pressure) then $75 per hour to fix/repair. He spent over an hour draining and filling my pressurized water storage tank then said it needed replacement. Cost $150 for alleged identifying the issue - but NO fix. I contacted a well digging company, they came out and said tank was fine and just needed to adjusted tank and pump switch to work correctly together. Cost $50 and 1/2 hr. So Owens charged for a diagnostic - which they got wrong, as well as fix/repair - which they never did! They also tried to sell a well head cleaning for $150 and a new, smaller, well water tank for $1000. End of original text and start of addendum. After the manager read my original text, he called me and sincerely apologized for what had happened durning the service call and asked what he could do to make it right. As I had already had another firm, a water well group, out to rebalance my water tank and limit switch pressures, I asked if I could get a refund. He agreed to that and sent out a check within about a week. While I may have just gotten a poor service person, or a someone who was having a bad day, Owen's customer service is VERY good. I would recommend you try them as they do care how well they serve you."
