"Update from 20 Jan 2026: I`ve been a repeat customer of Keep Smiling Plumber, Electrical, Heating and Cooling in the past for several home-related repairs. After having an unfortunate experience with Keep Smiling PEHC during my most recent service, I had some misgivings about the company and whether I would return as a customer. In regards to their customer service, everyone that I`ve engaged with (technicians, onsite supervisor, receptionist) has always been professional and courteous which goes a long way with me. The issue that I had was technical in nature and left me with some dissatisfaction regarding the quality of work. After speaking with leadership of this organization Mr. Powell and Ms. Amy ,I believe that they hold the highest standards and expectations for their employees and ensure that any work-related issues are duly addressed/resolved. I can sincerely say that they have regained my confidence and trust in contacting them in the future for my future HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing home needs. The manager I spoke with told me that there wasn`t any way the damage of the pump could come from the technician doing a drain and flush of the water heater. He told me that it would cost $1200 to replace the pump on the water heater. After speaking with the manager at Keep Smiling, I called another company which I`ve seen before in the community and spoke with a plumber and explained to him what happened. The technician at the other company told me that the pump could definitely be damaged if the pump was still plugged up and not turned off while the water heater was being drained and flush. I called the manager at Keep Smiling and shared those details with him and he replied that he understands what I`m saying but there was nothing he could do about it. I told him that I don`t have any reason to lie about any of this and felt very frustrated and cheated by the fact that I went in expecting for them to do a maintenance check for $59 for plumbing but ended up spending a $1000 for new. "A-Total came on a day’s notice which was great as water was leaking from an under sink cutoff valve at a significant rate. Price quoted of $275 required a trip to parts supply and about 1.5 - 2hr work! Not too bad! I figured the responsiveness was what I was paying as it was a Friday afternoon! Overall, work completed satisfactorily and we went on with our weekend plans!"

• We got back from vacation on a Saturday night and the air conditioner was not cooling. At 8:15 on Sunday morning we called Moncrief and an actual employee answered (I was expecting an answering service). They scheduled an appoint for that day. The repairmen arrived on time. One part had to be ordered from the manufacture; that happened first thing on Monday morning and before the end of the day on Monday the repairman was back with the part and an hour later the unit was running and cooling. The office personnel were polite and efficient and the repair man was very experienced and nice. 

Prior to calling Moncrief we contacted one other company. An answering service took the call and when someone called us back we were told that the first available appointment was in 5 days. Needless to say, we were pleased with the quick response from Moncrief.

"Great job, Excelsior arrived earlier than expected after checking to be sure it was OK to come early. When they arrived the immediately went to work removing the old water heater wasting no time. The job was completed within a couple of hours. The work was high quality and the new water heater works well. I checked several other plumbers and his pricing is in line with other plumbers in the area. Netting it down, excelsior does quality work in the time frame promised and at a reasonable price. What else can you ask for --They will be my "go to" plumber."
