"First of all let me say this. If you are in the Bergen County NJ area and are savvy with online reviews then you will most likely do what I did and get 4-5 estimates from the 4-5 best rated/highest reviewed companies on angies list/google reviews/homeadvisor etc. Which includes Purely Waters Kinetico system (approx $3000, avoid it). Passaic Bergen Water softening and Advanced Water (Both companies owned by the same person now since 2017). NMP Water Systems is without a doubt the BEST company out of all the top choices. I consider my self a good judge of character and have renovated my home for almost 100k in the past few years so I have dealt with many contractors. This company, by far, was the most professional, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy out of the 5 companies my wife and I interviewed. No salesman and sales pitches at all!! Tim, the owner, absolutely did whats best for us and took all of our concerns into account. He's the one that suggested an extra spigot to wash my car with soft water and only charged us $100 extra to do so. He used pex tubing and copper piping. He took his time in creating a seamless install. He even offered to run the RO water through our refrigerator as well so that the ice would be treated and so we would never have to spend money of frig filters again!! Tim was also the only person that suggested leaving the RO system in the basement rather than under my kitchen sink to save on space and then when he installed the tubing up to the kitchen sink, my wife and I, were amazed how great of an idea that was. The 2 employees that worked with Tim were incredibly professional and well spoken. They put down several tarps over the wooden floors/rugs etc. When they left and we went to inspect our basement, you could hardly tell anyone was there for 5 hours. Their ability to finish and provide amazing customer service was really refreshing. We didn't have to repeat ourselves over and over again to make sure everything was installed the way Tim and I discussed. NMP also was the only company that offered us a 10 yr warranty on PARTS and LABOR for both systems! NMP's price just also happened to be the most competitive for the exact same product other companies were offering. Tim and the crew were punctual during the 1st appointment and the subsequent install and we couldn't be happier! Tim also applied for permits with the town of Fair Lawn and did not charge extra to do so. Thank you NMP for such great work and for relieving us of the stress of hiring a water treatment contractor. For anyone reading this review, please consider, at least, getting an estimate from NMP so you can see why I'm so enthusiastic about my experience. "We could not be happier with the Puronics Hydronex iGen Whole home treatment system and Micromax 7000 drinking water system provided by Orbit Water Solutions. Justin, the marketing rep who sold us the system, was very professional and accommodating. Justin took about an hour to demonstrate a series of tests which reflected to quality of our water which had more chlorine and hardness than we expected. If you have concerns for lead, Orbit standard demonstration does test for it so you will need to have a separate test done. After some negotiation, we were able to settle on a deal which got us the system and financing for the next 10 years. Orbit provides annual maintenance services on the machine and there is a lifetime warranty on parts which really assured us we were making an investment to improve our water. The best part about it is that the system travels with you. For a small fee, Orbit will pack the system up and ship it to your next home if you move which was a big selling point for us. Orbit also threw in a subscription to PureSelects soap for the next 10 years which was a nice add-on. PureSelects provides every kind of soap or cleaning product you could ask for so it will be nice not to have to purchase additional soap products in the near future. Within a couple days, the installation team came out to install the system. They arrived on time but the installation took a little bit longer than expected. Turns out our the installed garbage disposal was too large to fit with the RO unit tank under the sink. Orbit was very accommodating though. Orbit purchased a new garbage disposal and installed it free of charge which I bet many companies would not have done. I highly recommend getting the larger of the under sink tanks for the RO unit. Even with the two gallon tank, my family has used up all the water in the tank. A 1 gallon tank would just not have been enough. The water in our house has been incredible since we installed the system a few months ago. We noticed an immediate impact to our skin and hair after using it and our drinking water certainly tastes better. Best of all, we feel confident in the quality of the water we use throughout the house to keep us safe and our appliances in good condition. We highly recommend the investment in the water treatment systems through Orbit."

"I highly recommend doing your own research and calling multiple companies before hiring ANYONE! I called 4 water treatment companies A-listed on Angie's List first and received many different recommendations. Aspen was the last I called. Steve was committed to helping resolve every issue to my satisfaction. One company I spoke with said that they could only make the water coming from the kitchen faucet fit to drink, not all faucets. Another company said there wasn't enough room for all the equipment he would have to install. None of the companies knew what to do to prevent the backwashed water when the system cleans itself from going into the septic. Another company said they could solve everything for a "special price " of $6000. Steve installed water a softener/filtration system that took out all of the extreme iron and manganese, as well as chromium and bacteria from the water. Aquamaven, the brand he sells, is made in Pennsylvania, is a family owned company and it has been is business for many years. Now I can drink clean, safe water from every tap in the house.The water is soft and clear and the smell is gone. I know because as an added precaution I had the water tested before and after by an independent lab, which I recommend everyone do. To remove the rotten egg smell, he also installed an iron/ sulfur neutralizer. He made everything fit in the limited closet space I have. His amazing installer ran the backwash out through the attic, into the gutter and onto the ground so it does not damage the septic. Steve is very pleasant to deal with, and fair in his pricing. He worked with me until every issue I had was resolved to my satisfaction. His installer, Tony, is top notch, does a very neat, clean plumbing job and knows his business. He has done thousands of installations. Also, I should mention that Steve will come back after the system has been installed to check the water and make sure everything is working to your satisfaction."

"Moved to a new house in a new town right away there was trouble with our water. The appliances had residue and the tap water was cloudy. Had a water softener and iron breaker at the old place so was familiar with water treatments but wanted a new no salt solution to fix the current problem.
