"When I called John at Mayo Plumbing, instead of rushing over to pull apart my kitchen ceiling immediately, he suggested that we could save some time and money by doing some of the investigation ourselves. Great idea! It was actually easy to figure out the source of the leak was our master bath shower, since using the other sources of water on the second floor did not contribute to the dripping. Once we figured that out, John came and, thru the process of elimination, found that it was not a plumbing issue, but a grout issue around the shower. Though he wasn't able to fix the grout for us, I was totally impressed with John and his professionalism, personable demeanor and his investigative work. "We had Jones Air & Water come out to install filtration and replace a catalytic core system that we had installed to prevent descaling. In our situation, we had a high volume of Chlorine in the water that you could definitely smell and taste. The catalytic core system, didn't live up to the expectations and we still had to deal with a heavy scale build up noticeable on all of our faucets and with two Rinnai units for on demand hot water that raised concerns about what type of build up we were having on what we couldn't see. Everett came out and was very thorough in testing the water and then explaining a recommended solution. We finally decided on a dual media tank solution that Everett and JD installed that provides us with an efficient way to not only handle the Chlorine issue, but truly conditions the water and we're noticing all of the differences that Everett explained we should see. We are very satisfied with the whole process from the review of what our situation is, the recommended solution, the installation and the end result.
