"Our sofa and love seat had been shredded by our cats, but the basic structure and cushions were fine. I found it was less expensive to reupholster than replace the sofas with furniture of comparable quality. I checked out several upholsterers, some of whom offered lower prices and faster turnaround, but none gave me the level of confidence that Julie Kim did when I visited the premises to check out fabrics. There was a huge selection of fabrics, and Julie pointed me to ones that met my criteria (navy blue base, contemporary design, extremely hard-wearing, and smooth to the touch so it would not be inviting to claws). Julie was easy to talk to and very professional. The work took about 5 weeks, but it was well worth the wait. Unlike some other companies, Sparkle Upholstery does all work on their premises. The quality exceeded my expectations: When it came back, the furniture looked better than it did when it was brand new. A protective spray had been applied to the new fabric, which looked exactly as I'd envisioned, and all scratches on the wood trim had been touched up. Sparkle both picked up and delivered the furniture, showing up right on time and getting the furniture into and out of the truck quickly. I highly recommend this company. <br />"

"I spoke to several furniture re-finishers from Angie's List and Wayne's price was less than half that of all the others. He promptly returned all my calls. He gave me a rough estimate of $300 on the phone after I had described the issue, and then came out to see it--and he stuck to his phone estimate (which included delivery). He took the top off the base and took the two leaves with him the same day. And unlike the others I had spoken with, who said it would take them over a month to complete the job--and they couldn't even start right away, Wayne had it done and returned in one week (just as he said he would). I admit I was a bit nervous because his price was so much less than the others-- but that worry was unnecessary: he did an absolutely beautiful job! The table looks brand new. I couldn't be happier and am looking forward to my next dinner party! I will definitely use Wayne again and will recommend him highly to friends. <br />"

Johnson  & Son Company was able to refinish the table surface to perfectly match the rest of the dining room ensemble. Table looks better than it did when we first purchased it. Appointments for estimate, pickup, and delivery when completed were right on time. Work was completed ahead of time. Pickup and delivery was very professional with extraordinary care demonstrated for both the table and the other furniture and surfaces going out and coming into the house.
