The house could not be cooled evenly (as much as a 10° difference between rooms), but the new system Air Pro designed and installed has dramatically improved things: the whole house is evenly cooled. They also installed an exhaust fan in the master bathroom. The techs, Alan and Mike (I hope I got their names right), were courteous, respectful, and, most important, excellent at their jobs. "I was pleased with the friendly and prompt service, both over the phone and by the technician.  He inspected the furnace functions, replaced the filter, checked for carbon monoxide.  It's about 28 years old, but we previously replaced the gas valve.  I asked him to look at an area around the flue where some swamp cooler water had dripped, because it had become a little rusty.  He said it doesn't appear to be a cause for concern at present.  He installed a disposable filter in place of the permanent filter, but left the permanent filter with me.  The disposable filter seems to be working fine.

"Leland did a great job.  He warned me ahead of time that I would possibly be without water for 1 night, which did occur.  I was concerned about the dirt and dust from the jack hammer and digging, but he somehow managed to keep everything neat and well-swept.  He has done work for me several times, and is always punctual, and usually his final bill is below his estimate.  He and his crew are always polite and friendly.  The day he was replacing the main pipe into the house it was very cold and windy; when he called me at work with an update his teeth were chattering it was so cold --- I asked him why he didn't go inside the house to warm up and he said it was because he didn't want to get any dirt inside my house.  I would definitely use his services again because he does a thorough job, well beyond the minimum requirements."
