"It took three professionals switching between multiple sites to remove the old furnace and put in the new one. They knew their jobs well, and my furnace kicked on in time to prevent me from being cold on one of the coldest days of the year. They also installed a whole house humidifier, which has served me well. I don't know how I lived without it. The price was extremely competitive, and I consider myself lucky to get both the furnace and the humidifier for the price of a furnace at other companies. I would not use anyone else for my heating or air conditioning at this point. Thank you!!!"

"Logan replaced both the ac unit and furnace. The previous owner of the home used a contractor who installed the original ac incorrectly and the electrical was not to code. Logan fixed even though it doubled the installation time. I feel a cheaper contractor would have not identified these issues and addressed."
Logan A/C & Heat Services offered value, competitive pricing, top of the line Trane equipment, nice financing options that other companies did not offer. Dan was my sales rep that offered the above services. Bobby was the installer & was professional & did a great job. Install was scheduled on a Monday after I committed on a Friday; so very quick! "The replacement of our 15 year old HVAC system went well. Pricing was competitive with others and customer service was great. There were a couple of issues we brought up regarding the installation and Elliot addressed them immediately. We are very pleased with the system installed, and will use Cincinnati Heating and Air Conditioning for service and other needs. Elliot is very honest and all involved were very courteous, especially regarding COVID 19 precautions and concerns."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Amelia, OH

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
