"Technicians were on time and very courteous.  They thoroughly inspected and cleaned my 15 yr old air conditioner and changed my air filter as advertised.  Although they indicated that the system was nearing the end of its life due to high readings for volts, and strain on the motor, etc., they did not pressure me to unnecessarily replace parts at this time.  They did provide me with a few options for repairing or replacing the system in the future should it fail, all without the high pressure attempt to sell me more than I need at the moment (something I hate). I would definitely recommend both the company and technicians to others."

"Unlike another provider whom I did not hire, arrived exactly on time for the site survey. Worksite in Spotslyvania, VA, and I live in Arnold, MD, so about a 2 hr drive for me. Had a firm proposal within 24 hours, install was scheduled that day. On install day, technician arrived exactly on time, following all COVID precautions. Work was completed in slightly less time than he projected. Quality of the work was first rate. Left the house and area surrounding the work - install new heat pump outdoor unit and indoor unit in attic - cleaner than when they started. All three technicians who worked the project were just terrific. Friendly, respectful of the property, very informative. They made sure I understood the improvements they'd made to the ancillary portions of the system (e.g. drain pan and condensate drains from the attic), and worked through the new thermostat details as well. There is one other reason why I would implicitly trust these folks. When the president of the company (John Smith) came out to do the estimate, he carefully explained the various levels of the systems that would match the house. He carefully explained the technical benefits of proposed upgrades to the drain systems and the need to install a path from the attic entrance to the interior unit for safety (agreed immediately). I'm a licensed mechanical engineer, and his explanations were complete and accurate. "My furnace is very old and quit working.  I called several HVAC companies and received  quotes to replace ranging from $1,800 to $11,000.  I found Energy Wise on Angies and called Matt.  He returned my call within 30 minutes and was at my house within 24 hours.  After his inspection, he stated that the furnace was still in good shape and could offer me a  number of years service before buying a new unit.  He suggested replacing the motor and fan and cleaning internal parts.  All of this was completed by the end of the next day.
