"A technician arrived at the appointed time and easily diagnosed the problem. I had purchased the unit and had it installed 6 years prior by another company but I couldn't recall if it was still under warranty. The tech did some research and found out it was under warranty and rather than charging me for more than $49 service call, suggested I call the original installing company, since that might save me money with labor, stating he would gladly do the repair if that was my preference. I did decide to call the installer, and that was the right decision since it was a problem with a part they had already replaced for me, they had had the same problem with other units from the manufacturer. I am confident my house will be cool this summer, that's all that counts, right? Even though Huft didn't do my repair, they showed professionalism with helping me come up with the right solution and help me safe money in the process."

"We opened this project through Angi on a Sunday afternoon, after our water heater started leaking on Saturday afternoon and completely stopped heating our water that night, I had been calling multiple plumbers with no luck (except high prices and a few day wait) the water heater guyz matched to us and called while I was still on the phone with the Angi agent! I called back Ty once I was off the phone with Angi, I then sent him a few pics of our water heater/water heater closet area and he was able to call me back and discuss a new tank vs tankless water heater. We decided to go with a new tank water heater and Ty then sent us an estimate that we signed and was able to schedule us for the next morning, Monday morning to get the water heat replaced! The gentleman Joe that he sent did an amazing job, very kind, efficient and professional. A few hours later we had hot water and 2 days later we had our inspection from the city. "Of the five businesses I contacted for estimates, I thought the Bonney installer gave me the most honest up-front estimate (although it was also the highest estimate). Some of the businesses would only give me over-the-phone low-ball estimates that were obviously just for the water heater itself, neglecting to mention the extra components that would be needed such as valves, strappings, expansion tank, and an electrical disconnect box, all required for the City permit. And only a couple of businesses, even one who came to the house, bothered to mention the required City permit. The Bonney installer showed up on time with all the required equipment. He removed the old tank and components, prepped the area for the new components, and completed the installation in about five hours. He also cleaned the area thoroughly when he was finished. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the results. It passed the City inspection. And I also think I got a better quality water heater brand which isn't available online or at discount big-box stores."
