"Furnace was not operating because the company's automatic delivery system ran me out of oil.
Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again.
The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly.
He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly.

"After living in our Toll Brothers home for 12 years we were fed up with the poorly functioning heating and air conditioning in our upstairs bedrooms.  We had made several repairs and modifications to the system over the years, but none helped.  We were considering moving because the upstairs bedrooms were so uncomfortable in the summer and winter.  We must have talked to 5 different HVAC contractors.  We asked Climatic for an estimate to repair or replace, if necessary, our upstairs unit.  Sonny Swann came out and gave us an estimate.  He suggested we replace everything in order to make the system and duct work finally work as it should.  We signed off and agreed to all his suggestions.  I told him that this was mission impossible, but he remained convinced that he could make it work.  Well he did it! It took A LOT of work on their part - some of which they did at no charge, but it works great.  I highly recommend Climatic Heating and Cooling.

"Randall did a great job at unclogging the sink and replacing the pipes that needed to be replaced. He was very professional and explained exactly what needed to be done and what the cost would be. If I have anymore plumbing problems, I will definitely call McCarthy services again and hope that I can get Randall again.Around"

"I had to go to an out-of-town business meeting, and because the location of the meeting was exotic, my husband opted to accompany me. Unfortunately, shortly before we were scheduled to leave, my husband developed medical issues that left us in some doubt as to whether or not he would accompany me. When he was cleared, the day before my flight, I contacted Boris (based on his ratings on Angie's list) and asked if he could drive us to the airport. Despite the short notice, and despite the fact that we had to leave at 3:15 AM to be sure of arriving in time for our overseas flight, Boris actually arrived early at our house. His vehicle is comfortable and clean, and we appreciated that we didn't have to wait for him to pick up other people, as has been the case for some other services we've used in the past. He provided us with cold water to drink, and was pleasant company for this early morning drive. When we reached National Airport, he offered to drive us back home when we came back 8 days later. Even though our flight arrived shortly after midnight, he was in telephone contact with us within minutes of when our flight landed, and he picked us up shortly after we told him which door we'd be exiting. Again, he drove us between National Airport and our home for $75, and as he had done when he picked us up, he again offered us cold water to drink during our drive. We're very happy with his service and would highly recommend him. I definitely expect that we'll use his services again."

"I called in the morning to see if they could get me in for a brake job that day and they said yes, when I got there I asked if they had time could they take care of the 100k service and a few items I wanted to check and replace if needed if they had time.   They said they would call me with an estimate on the brakes and offer some options on the other services I requested.  They called me 30 minutes after dropping it off saying the brakes still had 40% left.  The whole reason I thought it needed brakes was the dealership had told me in January during an oil change that they needed replacing, the serpentine belt needed replacing,and so on.  I skipped doing the brakes and did all items on the 100k mi service and looked at some other wear items.  In the end I did the required service at 100k, transmission, transfer case, front and rear differential fluid flushes and change.  The list of things I had concerns about and like to replace just due to age, they inspected and did not recommend replacing at this time.  I have always gotten my service done at the dealership for all my cars, this experience along with the reviews here that led me to contact them in the first place changed that.

"Jason and Alex were on time and the job went well. Completed in approximately 5 hours. Jason explained why some equipment differed from the contract (provided part fit better into existing duct work). Jason noted that the internal components were the same. My wife and I purchased a mid priced unit. The price below reflects an approximate cost. The sales representative (Randy) wanted us to decide relatively quickly noting that now was a slower time for their crews. Working with Scott, Randy adjusted the quote. We had already received one other quote (liked the rep there) so we knew the Rescue Rooter proposal was competitive (even if we did not get truly a break). Our existing system was failing so we wanted to move forward. Jason and Alex explained what needed to be done to maintain the system and how to work the new thermostat. We purchased through Home Depot."

"The installer had a bit of an issue getting the basement unit to power up. He was ubale to solve it prior to leaving and I had no heat downstairs that night. The next workday, a tech showed up and was able to find the cut ground wire which he repaired and the unit fired right up. The installer inadvertantly cut the ground but was anable to diagnose and repair requiring a more experienced tech to do so."

"Excellent in every way. Sunshine assigned a team of three installers who started on a Tuesday, also worked on Saturday, and completed all aspects of the installation by the following Wednesday. The quality of the work, including installation, responding to any questions we had along the way, and cleaning up the work areas at the end of each day helped make for an efficient and well -done project. The lead installer also replaced a front screen door on the final day of the project. In addition, the estimating process for the project was clear and easy to understand."

"Promptly returned email regarding service request, on Saturday. Responded same day to repair 2Ton Geo unit (Waterfurnace). Extremely knowable on geo-thermal systems, the repairs were made in timely manner at a fair price, my only regret on this geo unit is I should have had Continental install the system in the first place, it’s seems very likely I would not be haveing the maintenance issues."
