After removal of the old deck wood, it was determined that further reinforcement would be needed in order to do this job properly. Therefore, original estimate had to be adjusted quite a bit, to account for the extra labor needed to perform the reinforcement. Alex and his team completed the job in about three weeks, with most of the days in cold weather. Several payments were provided throughout the project and there were no hidden costs, they were very upfront in terms of what needed to be done, and were transparent throughout the process. Alex and his team also added, without additional labor cost, repair work for a side door deck, which involved replacement of about 8 boards. All in all, pleased with the work completed, very professional, and both decks look very good. Would use them again for future projects."

"The owner, Rick, is excellent. I've had him over several times. He came over at the very last minute. As always he was courteous and prompt and got the job done very well. I've been using him off and on for a couple of years. The work he does is so solid that I don't need to call him very often. He was my first choice for the work. The person that owns the company is generally the one that comes out and does the work. He is a very pleasant person to speak with. He does fabulous work. He is very prompt. When we had our heating installed with him, he gave us a flat price. He ran into problems and spent 36 hours above what he expected to make sure that things were working properly. In terms of being above and beyond, he is definitely there. He has one or two employees at most. He is excellent and very professional. I don't have a lot of comparison but his price seems reasonable for the amount of time he spends. He has been able to come out when other places would have charged a surcharge. He is always on time. I will definitely continue to use him. He does heating, hot water service and anything to do with natural gas. He put in our tankless water heater and our furnace."

"Todd was recommended to me by a very particular friend.  She had used him for some finished carpentry and was very impressed with the quality of his work.  As she is hard to please, I knew that Todd was the right man for the job.  On his initial visit, Todd showed up to my house on time and we discussed what I was looking for in a deck. He took measurements, made notes and  e-mailed me an estimate within a few days.  I had gotten about 5 estimates, and his price was right in the middle.   I had wanted him to do the work during a particular time period, which he was willing and able to do.  Todd paid close attention to how I wanted my deck to look and to the materials I wanted used, and he went above and beyond to make it come out just how I had pictured it. It took him approximately 6 days from start to finish.  
His business card says he is "reliable, responsible, qualified & insured.  Has over 20 years of experience in the building trades."  I would also add he is a nice person, respectful, trustworthy and easy to work with.  He does General Construction, Home Repairs, and Kitchen Installations.  I love my new deck and would highly recommend Todd Forsythe.

She listened to our ideas, showed us different styles and layouts she had done and then visited our home to get a feel for the project and take measurements/pictures. Once we had a basic concept in mind, Sara went back and developed some plans along with illustrations to show us how it would all come together. She worked with the contractors to make sure that our dreams could fit into the budget we planned for the project -even with all the upgrades we needed to bring our home up to code. 
The cabinetry she recommended is beautifully made and totally fits our house. From ordering to delivery  there weren't any problems - everything was packed nicely and labeled properly - everything arrived undamaged, and the contractor had no problems with assembly.
After the kitchen was finished in April, Sara contacted us twice after to make sure that everything was OK and to see if she there was anything we wanted to change or add. We thought of a wine rack and she had someone in her office drop it off at the house for no extra charge."

"All the work went extremely well. The design discussions started several months before demolition. B&B is very thorough and patient with the planning phase, and bring up many excellent ideas for consideration. We did not use a separate architect or designer (other than for decorative items), instead drawing on the expertise of B&B. It was our request to minimize the time from demo to occupancy. Work was completed nearly on the schedule we had laid out, but we added a few additional items along the way. The follow up attention was also very good as B&B made several revisits with the cabinet manufacturer to replace a few components of the cabinets that were not 100% correct (matching color, etc.).
