"This company was highly rated on Home Advisor. That is why I hired them. They sent a **junior** plumber to rework the pipes in the shower of a 60-year-old house. I also asked that a new faucet be installed in the lower-level bathroom. In the case of the bathroom repiping, a couple of mistakes were made according to the tile installer who had to ask for a correction. In the case of the lower bathroom faucet, I was told that because of the pedestal sink, a portion of the bathroom wall would have to be replaced. I certainly did not want that to occur to replace a faucet. Ultimately, this inexperienced plumber asked the main office to send another plumber to do the work and determine how to save the wall in the process. Day 2, a more experienced plumber came, changed the faucet without further adieu. The total cost of all of this far exceeded what I expected."

They came to my house within 30 minutes, gave me an estimate, offered to do the work right away, went to the hardware store to pick up parts I did not have and did a very thorough clean up when the work was finished. "We would Highly Recommend A & C Plumbing.They did an extraordinary job and really went the extra mile for us. We had to replace our main service line. And they were able to come the day after the estimate to do the work, and get the proper permits, which was great since we didn't have any water. They spent the entire day getting a monster of a job done, in the scorching heat. There was a hand dug trench 3ft deep 6 ft across for the main service line, replaced the ancient galvanized main service line, and a whole new up to code system installed inside. So, they go to tie the house into the city line and there's a leak on the city side too. They called it in to DPW and finish their part, and we had water (we hadn't for over 2 days at that point). A & C gave us the DPW work order number and we all think it's going to get taken care of, right.....ð ¤ For the next 2 weeks DPW says they are investigating and to be patient. Then they tell us it's our fault and the leak is on our side, which we knew wasn't correct, and  contacted A & C. We called DPW, A& C called DPW, we emailed, and A &C emailed. We finally got an inspector to really investigate, then DPW came to fix it, twice, after first visit we had no water. Anthony came to the second DPW service call to talk to the crew, supervisor and inspector, to make sure everything was ok and to see if they had any questions for him, then he went to his other job site. When DPW tied the house back to the water main they had clogged the line (working in an open muddy pit) and told me to call the plumber. I called Anthony (A &C), informed him of everything going on. When he finished the job he was working he came back to the house, he cleared out the traps he just installed we Finally had Water! A & C Plumbing are a small local business that really stuck with us and helped us with a difficult time with the water company. Anthony came back when we really needed him to Personally talk with the DPW work crew, supervisors, and inspectors. Competitive rates, Quality work and a Warranty!"
