"The owner Ken performed the cleaning service. He did a superb job, cleaned up after the service and offered a reasonable price. He also drove to Home Depot and purchased a replacement flexible connector that I needed to upgrade my dryer connection. I am very happy with his service and highly recommend this company. 6 stars!"

"Very pleased with their service. They not only replaced the faulty unit but also tuned up our second unit. They are very professional, efficient and and above all honest. They will never take you for a ride, unlike most of the A/C companies out there, who will tell you different stories and try to extract more money from you. As long as we live in Tampa, Fontana Brothers will be our one stop shop for A/C and Heating needs."

"Our central air conditioner began to fail on Easter weekend. I contacted F&F and they responded immediately. Rick checked the system out completely and diagnosed the problem. It was the motor and he went about securing one by Saturday morning. By Saturday evening, my ac unit was repaired, the motor replaced and our home began cooling down again. The motor was not a standard model and this was a holiday weekend yet they still came through for us. I cannot say enough about the response and excellent customer service that we received. It exceeded our expectations and we always felt like we were being treated fairly. We highly recommend this company for your ac needs."

FAQs for central humidifier installation and replacement projects in Bradley, FL

A crawl space dehumidifier is a worthwhile investment, particularly in humid climates or if you've noticed musty odors, mold growth, or wood deterioration. Though costs range from $3,000 to $9,200, this investment helps prevent structural damage that could require far more expensive repairs later. Beyond structural protection, a properly dehumidified crawl space contributes to better overall indoor air quality and may reduce allergens throughout your home. Consider having a professional assessment to determine if your specific situation warrants this investment.

Addressing crawl space moisture effectively often requires a combination of solutions. A complete approach includes encapsulation plus dehumidifier installation. For minor moisture issues, a basic dehumidifier starting at $1,500 may suffice, while severe problems in larger spaces could require systems costing up to $14,000. The most effective moisture control strategy depends on your specific conditions, making a professional assessment valuable for determining the most cost-effective approach for your situation.

For a crawl space measuring 1,500 square feet, you'll need a dehumidifier with a daily capacity of 30 to 50 pints, with unit costs ranging from $150 to $600. Your local climate and existing moisture levels may necessitate adjusting this capacity—homes in particularly humid regions might benefit from higher-capacity units. Professional installers can measure your specific humidity conditions and recommend equipment that is appropriately sized, balancing initial cost with operating efficiency for your unique situation.

Crawl space dehumidifiers add $300 to $500 to your annual electricity expenses when operating continuously. Energy-efficient models reduce this consumption by roughly 15 to 30% compared to standard units. Most contemporary dehumidifiers feature humidity sensors that automatically cycle operation based on current conditions, helping manage energy usage. Proper crawl space encapsulation significantly improves efficiency by creating a controlled environment that requires less dehumidifier runtime, thereby reducing ongoing electricity costs.
